Get off the beaten track with a Croatia holiday
Travellers looking to see as much on their Croatia holiday as possible could consider visiting the town of Pula, which has several attractions off the normal tourist hit-list.Writing for Helium, travel expert Jade Li advises Croatia holiday travellers to see the "lovely" town of Pula which is located near Zagreb.
If you've got a taste for history and culture after visiting the popular attractions of Dubrovnik and Split, you can find more of the same, but with fewer crowds.
According to Ms Li, there are still many Roman ruins to visit, including the sixth largest Roman amphitheatre in the world.
After exploring the underground chambers of the amphitheatre, you might want to see the recently opening Pula Aquarium.
Children and adults are bound to be charmed by the "touching pool" where you can handle crabs, turtles and sea squirts.
For those whowant an educative lesson, it may be worth going on the three-hour boat tour to explore the wonders of the Adriatic with an expert guide.
