Croatia holidays 'set for good weather for rest of summer'
Travellers who will be taking Croatia holidays over the coming weeks look set to enjoy good weather.Meteorologists have forecast that the latter part of the summer season will be mainly sunny with only occasional bursts of rain that should not have too severe an effect on visitors, the Croatian Times reports.
People taking Adriatic cruises will be stopping off at a number of locations along the coast, which are expected to enjoy plenty of sun and temperatures approaching 32 degrees C.
While the end of August and beginning of September will enjoy hot weather, temperatures are not expected to reach 40-degree highs.
In addition to sun and sea, travellers looking forward to a Croatia sailing holiday this summer or in future years can take the opportunity to visit some of the historic sites and landmarks located along the Dalmatian coast.
Dubrovnik boasts attractions including an old town area and miles of fortified walls, while Split is home to Diocletian's Palace, an ancient Roman building.
