Croatia holidays: Kuna ranked among top currencies for Brits
A currency exchange firm has released statistics highlighting the ongoing popularity of Croatia holidays in September.International Currency Exchange (Ice) revealed that the Croatian kuna was sixth in its list of most-ordered currencies last month.
The kuna was ranked ahead of the Canadian dollar, the Chinese yuan, the United Arab Emirates dirham and the Egyptian pound.
Ice's figures suggest that Croatia holidays are a highly popular option among people travelling on the continent, with the euro and the Turkish lira the only other European currencies featuring in the top ten.
Joanna Williams, head of marketing for Ice, encouraged people planning to head overseas in the near future to order their travel money online or pick it up at the airport to avoid postal costs.
Travellers who want to combine relaxation with adventure can arrange an Adriatic cruise to visit fascinating cities such as Dubrovnik and Split as well as idyllic islands like Hvar and Korcula.
