Eva Longoria enjoys Croatia holiday

Eva Longoria has spoken about some of the experiences on offer to people planning Croatia holidays following a recent visit to the country.

The Desperate Housewives star enjoyed a summer break on the Adriatic coast with basketball player husband Tony Parker, the Croatian Times reports, citing daily newspaper Jutarnji List.

Speaking on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show, Longoria praised the country for its beauty and cuisine, but admitted that she did not even know where it was before the trip.

"I kept going, honey, where are we going, Russia?" the actress admitted on US television.

She said that Croatians are particularly good at preparing Italian food, an element of local cuisine that travellers can look forward to sampling during an Adriatic cruise.

People planning a Croatia sailing trip can try the food on offer at restaurants in big cities such as Dubrovnik and Split, as well as smaller dining establishments in more remote locations along the Adriatic coast.
