Croatia holiday guests could enjoy bass competition Brits going island hopping in Croatia next week could take a break from their Adriatic cruises to attend a musical event.

The Bassmaster2010 contest will look to find a winner among a very talented line-up of international bass guitar players.

Beginning on Tuesday (October 2nd), the event will take place in the capital city of Zagreb and the town of Sisak.

According to the Croatian Times, the three-day event will be hosted in a number of venues and feature artists from all over Europe.

Among these will be Italy's Vincenzo Maurogiovanni, Danish bassist Julius Boone and Bosnia and Herzegovina's Petar Ceho.

Of course, Croatia will provide its own talent in the form of Kresimir Susec, Marinko Pintaric, Petar Makar and Dino Juric.

Up for grabs is the Sterling By Music Man gong and a chance to perform at ViennaBass on November 21st.

Meanwhile, the paper also reported that Bon Jovi is to play a gig in Zagreb next summer after their previous date got cancelled.ADNFCR-2466-ID-800202309-ADNFCR
