Check out Zagreb's Festival of St Mark on a Croatia holiday

People visiting Zagreb during Croatia tours this spring could have the chance to enjoy some music.

According to the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Festival of St Mark will take place between April 25th and May 20th this year.

The event utilises some of the historic cultural sites and venues located in the Upper Town area of the city, as well as its old town district and the political and administrative centre.

Every year, the Festival of St Mark plays host to classical soloists and ensembles based in Zagreb and other areas, who perform a diverse range of concerts for the enjoyment of locals as well as people visiting the city during Croatia holidays.

Culture vultures can also check out what exhibitions and events are taking place at sites such as the Mimara Museum and Modern Art Gallery in the capital.

Travellers can begin their Croatia tours in Split before heading on to Pag, Plitvice, Zagreb and the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana.
