Greece to Croatia tours: Corfu 'offers everything'

Travellers visiting Corfu during trips from Greece to Croatia can choose from a diverse range of experiences.

Commenting on the appeal of the Greek islands, George Nikitiades, the country's deputy minister of culture and tourism, said that Corfu offers "everything" that a visitor could want.

He pointed out that the isle and other destinations in the region provide attractions and activities to suit all sorts of holidaymakers, from clubbers and partygoers to those interested in history and religion.

"That's one of the beauties of Greece," said Mr Nikitiades. "You go to the islands and each one has its own identity, its own different things to show."

The spokesman described all of the isles in the region as "beautiful" and pointed out that they are home to some "very famous beaches".

Holidaymakers travelling from Greece to Croatia can begin their tour in Corfu and visit destinations such as Tirana in Albania and Kotor in Montenegro before arriving in Dubrovnik, which is also a popular destination for Adriatic cruises.
