Croatia holidays 'offer something for everyone'

People taking Croatia holidays will have plenty to do in the country, whatever their tastes and interests.

That is according to the national tourist board, whose director Meri Matesic revealed that destinations along the Adriatic coast are welcoming more and more visitors every year.

One of the main reasons for this is their diversity, with attractions and experiences to suit everyone from young clubbers to older couples embarking on Croatia holidays, according to Ms Matesic.

"Every Croatian coastal destination attracts more and more visitors every year," she said.

"Each of those has something different for different types of travellers … [including] family vacationers, culture explorers, nature lovers, island hoppers [and] partygoers. Some of them of course have all that together."

One way for holidaymakers to take in as many experiences as possible in the region is to take an Adriatic cruise to diverse ports, islands and cities such as Split, Hvar, Korcula, Makarska and the tourist hotspot of Dubrovnik.
