See Trsteno's 'natural beauty' on a Croatia cruise
Croatia cruise passengers visiting the Dubrovnik region have been encouraged to see Trsteno.According to the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, this seaside village is known for its natural beauty and monuments with a history stretching back 500 years.
Arguably the most famous attraction of all in Trsteno is the arboretum, which is thought to be the oldest site of its kind in this part of the world.
Travellers enjoying sailing holidays in Croatia can pay a visit to the destination to see the summer residence of the Gucetic-Gozze family, which boasts a scenic garden that has been nurtured from the 15th century to the present day.
The garden comprises an aqueduct, a mill, a fountain with a statue of Neptune surrounded by nymphs and a pavilion overlooking the sea and nearby islands.
Croatia cruise guests planning to take in views of the Adriatic and the isles surrounding Dubrovnik can also take a cable car ride up Mount Srd during their trip.
