Croatia tours: Bike hire available in Ljubljana

Croatia tours: Bike hire available in Ljubljana Travellers visiting Ljubljana during Croatia tours this year will be offered a unique way to see the city.

A recently launched bicycle hire scheme in the Slovenian capital provides some 300 bikes and 600 parking locations, which are available at 31 stations in the city centre.

People interested in embarking on a pedal-powered tour of the destination during Croatia tours will need to register on the Bicikelj website beforehand.

Visitors can sign up for a weekly subscription at a cost of €1 (89p) to receive a user code and personal password that will give them access to the network of rental bikes.

While cycling around Ljubljana, holidaymakers can take in sights such as the city's castle, which offers panoramic views from its highest point, and the picturesque Old Town.

One Balkan road trip itinerary includes a visit to the Slovenian destination following stops in the Croatia holiday favourites of Split, Pag, Plitvice and Zagreb.ADNFCR-2466-ID-800573410-ADNFCR
