Travellers planning to spend some time relaxing in Dubrovnik during a Croatia sailing holiday have been encouraged to
visit some local beaches. An article on the Dubrovnik Travel website reveals that, with "crystal clear waters and nearly perfect weather from May to October", finding an idyllic beach in the city should be an achievable goal for most tourists. However, the site points out that some seafront hotspots stand out for people looking for a memorable beach experience. One of the most popular locations travellers can visit during an Adriatic cruise is Dubrovnik's Banje beach, which boasts an enviable location next to the Old Town in the Ploce neighbourhood. Lapad is another leading hotspot for visitors, while Copacabana is described by Dubrovnik Travel as the city's "most family-friendly beach". People who would like to venture beyond some of the tourist zones during a Croatia sailing holiday can head to Sveti Jakov, which is difficult to reach but "well worth the several flights of steep stairs required", according to the site. ![]() |
