Croatia holidays will be more accessible for many travellers this summer when new flights are launched to Dubrovnik,
a development that has been welcomed by the local tourist board.Dubrovnik airport is reportedly one of the few bases in the country that is not experiencing reductions in flight capacity this year. The city's tourist board pointed out that many carriers are in fact increasing the number of services that will be available during the summer season. British travellers planning Croatia sailing holidays will be offered new flights to both Dubrovnik and Split with easyJet from London Stansted. Commenting on the airline's decision to increase access to the country, Stansted's managing director David Johnston said: "This announcement is a real positive beginning to 2010, and will offer our passengers great value for money and even more choice to increasingly popular destinations." Croatia sailing holidays could also prove popular among Spanish and German travellers when Iberia and Lufthansa launch additional flights to Dubrovnik during the summer months. ![]() |
