Travellers who are hoping to add some romance to an Adriatic cruise this year have been encouraged to
pay a visit to Dubrovnik. In an article in low-cost carrier bmibaby's inflight magazine, Francesca Hornak reveals that a trip to the city can be an "enchanting getaway". The writer referred to a number of sights and attractions that couples can look out for during a Croatia sailing holiday, including Dubrovnik's "gleaming streets, fairytale turrets and white beaches". One memorable way for travellers to spend an evening in the city is by sampling some of its local cuisine, which brings together a number of Mediterranean influences. Ms Hornak recommends the Lokanda Peskarija restaurant in the old harbour, where diners can sit on the water's edge and choose from a menu offering a variety of seafood and wines. The article also encouraged travellers to see Korcula, another hotspot that can be included on a Croatia sailing holiday route. Bmibaby flies to Dubrovnik from East Midlands airport. ![]() |
