 Two influential travel authorities have encouraged consumers to pay a visit to Dubrovnik during a Croatia holiday this
year.British Airways (BA) and TripAdvisor including the Adriatic cruise hotspot on a "travel wish list" designed to inspire people looking for their "dream destination". The historic old town of Dubrovnik, which is listed as a Unesco World Heritage site, was recommended by the organisations for travellers who are looking for a cultural break this year. Visitors can learn all about the city's turbulent but fascinating history and take a walk along its fortified walls, which offer spectacular views of the Adriatic coast. BA and TripAdvisor compiled a destination wish list to celebrate a new partnership between the companies, which will see reviews and opinions from TripAdvisor's memberspublished on the airline's website. Announcing the deal, BA said: "The launch is intended to help customers find the best deals to British Airways' amazing array of destinations." People planning a Croatia sailing holiday this year can catch flights to Dubrovnik from London Gatwick with the airline.  |
