| Croatia holiday is a royal destination |

Croatia holidays can be cheap but they do attract royalty. The Saudi Arabian royal family are coming to visit Dubrovnik on the world's 40th biggest yacht, the Croatian Times has reported. Prince Salman bin Abd al-Aziz ibn Abd al-Rahman will be sailing from Venice on Tueq. According to the newspaper, the yacht has 21 crew members. A sailing holiday for the slightly more budget-conscious traveller could give you a similar taste of luxury. Dubrovnik's coastline has proved hugely popular with the rich and famous, but a sailing holiday doesn't have to cost the earth. Those who prefer to have their feet on terra firma won't be short of celebrities to spot. The Dubrovnik festival, which celebrates its 61st anniversary this year, runs from July to August. It attracts several high profile celebrities, including tortured romantic hero Ralph Fiennes. A report from theTimes earlier this month revealed that Bill Gates also likes to 'summer' in Croatia. ![]() |
