 Travellers enjoying Croatia cruises will not be the only ones seeing the sights of Dubrovnik this summer, with
Morgan Freeman currently in the city to take part in a special event.The Hollywood star is the guest of honour at the 2010 Dubrovnik Film Meeting, which is held every year in cooperation with the Sarajevo Film Festival, one of the most prestigious events of its kind in the region. Vala Beach Club hosted the opening of the two-day festival yesterday (August 1st) and a series of screenings and activities will take place in the Stradun and Rector's Palace area today. The Dubrovnik Tourist Board revealed that Freeman will be presenting his latest movie Invictus, in which he played Nelson Mandela and starred opposite Matt Damon. As well as checking out some cultural events, travellers planning to visit Dubrovnik during a Croatia sailing holidaycan walk along the city's fortified walls and take a cable car ride up Mount Srd.  |
