People planning to stop off in Dubrovnik during a Croatia cruise this year can visit one of the
city's newest attractions. The Visia Dubrovnik 5D Museum opened in July at the entrance to the old town area in the church of St Claire. According to the city's tourist board, the complex combines the sort of interactive experiences on offer at theme parks such as Disneyland and Gardaland with more modern museum attractions. Adriatic cruise passengers can visit the site to embark on a fascinating journey through the history of Dubrovnik and Croatia and experience some of the latest '5D' and virtual reality technology. The new attraction was entirely financed through Croatian investment and was developed by a team that included Zvonimir Miksic, director of the country's first 3D movie. Other cultural venues that visitors can look out forduring Dubrovnik cruises include the municipal art gallery and the Sebastian Gallery. ![]() |
