 Travellers who visit the island of Hvar during Croatia sailing holidays this year will have the opportunity to
dine in some prize-winning restaurants.Last weekend, the second annual gastronomic exhibition was held in the city of Stari Grad on Hvar, the Croatian Times reports. Eleven restaurants took part in the competitive section of the event, each preparing a starter, a main course and a dessert that were assessed by judges. People planning to visit Hvar during their Croatia sailing holidays will be interested to hear that the Galerija Ljubic restaurant won the top prize, while Kod Barba Luke was second and Stari Mlin took third place. As well as sampling the local cuisine, holidaymakers visiting Hvar can spend some time relaxing on the beach or visiting the picturesque small towns of Jelsa and Sucuraj. Travellers planning Croatia sailing breaks can choose a Traditional cruise to visit Hvar, which will also take in destinations such as Makarska and Dubrovnik.  |
