Travellers who visit the island of Hvar during Adriatic cruises should keep an eye out for the island's
coastal scenery, which was described by a recent visitor as "amazing".In the Thirsty Backpacker blog, which was published on Lonely Planet's website, the traveller documents his journey from Brac to the port of Stari Grad on Hvar via Split. Before leaving Brac, the blogger took some time to go for a swim in the waters of the Adriatic, which he described as "super clear and refreshing" despite a tricky walk over the rocky beach. He then travelled by sea to Hvar, a scenic island that people on Croatia sailing holidays can visit as part of an itinerary that begins in Dubrovnik and also stops in Korcula, Mljet and Sipan. Hvar boasts a number of sights that holidaymakers can see during their Adriatic cruises, including a Renaissance cathedral. The island is also home to several restaurants, bars and cafes. ![]() |
