Travellers who would like to try some local wine during an Adriatic cruise this year might be interested
in paying a visit to Hvar.The red wine 'Zlatan plavic Barrique, 2004', which comes from the southern part of the island, recently received a glowing review from popular critic Gary Vaynerchuk, reports the Croatian Times. Mr Vaynerchuck presents the daily online webcast Wine Library TV, which regularly attracts some 90,000 viewers. After tasting the produce from Hvar, he claimed that it is one of the best new wines he has tried recently, meaning a visit to the island could be enjoyable for travellers taking Croatia sailing holidays this year. The critic also underlined the distinctiveness of the wine by saying that its smell reminded him of a zebra, according to the newspaper.
