Travellers interested in seeing some natural sights and attractions during a Croatia holiday next year have been encouraged to
pay a visit to Makarska.According to the town's tourist board, one of the destinations worth visiting is the shrine of Vepric, along with the parks on the peninsulas of Sveti Petar and Osejava. The tourism agency recommended these locations for people searching for recreational activities or stunning views of the town, sea and surrounding islands. People planning to visit Makarska during an Adriatic cruise might also have the opportunity to see villages such as Veliko Brdo, Puharici, Makar and Kotisina, which are located at the foot of the Biokovo mountains. Those who are feeling particularly adventurous during their Croatia holiday can embark on a walk in the mountain range to take in views from the highest seaside peak in the Mediterranean. Makarska is one of the ports on an Adriatic cruise itinerary that begins in Split and also stops off in Dubrovnik, Korcula and Hvar. ![]() |
