Art lovers who visit Split during their Croatia sailing holidays this year will have the opportunity to see
the exhibits on show at the city's new art gallery.According to an article published on the website View from the Riva, the recently opened Gallery of Art in Split is "a treasure". The attraction is located on Tomislava, near the city's main post office and the famous Diocletian's Palace. People taking Croatia sailing holidays can pay a visit to the gallery to see a variety of exhibits, from examples of contemporary art to important relics from the medieval and Renaissance eras. As well as taking in the collection of sculptures, paintings, graphic works and video installations, visitors can have a sit down in the ground floor cafe and will soon be able to pick up some souvenirs in the museum gift shop. Viewfrom the Riva points out that there are many other cultural institutions people can visit if they stop in Split during their Croatia sailing holidays, such as the Ethnographic Museum and the Mestrovic Gallery. ![]() |
