Croatia sailing holidays will provide travellers with plenty of opportunities to stretch their legs and enjoy some adventurous
activities in Split, according to a recently published article. One of the highlights of a visit to the city is climbing Marjan hill, a writer posting on the website Croatia Traveller claimed. The landmark is located on a peninsula that emerges from west Split and reaches a total height of 125 metres. People on Croatia sailing holidays should head to the Veli Varos neighbourhood to begin their ascent of the challenging set of steps that eventually lead to a cafe offering views of Split and its nearby islands. The route continues, allowing visitors to see small churches and a botanical garden, as well as a small zoo. According to Croatia Traveller, another worthwhile option is entering the Marjan hill park from the northern side, renting a bike and cycling to the Bene leisure complex, which offers facilities to play tennis and other sports. Travellers who visit Split during their Croatia sailing holidays can also see famous attractions such as Diocletian's Palace. ![]() |
