People with a soft spot for chocolate should make sure they visit Split during Croatia sailing holidays to
sample an award-winning variety of the sweet treat. The Nadalina chocolate that is made in Split picked up an accolade at the Eco-Ethno Croatia fair that was held in Zagreb from October 14th to 18th, the Croatian Times reports. Nadalina also creates a variety of spices and sells its products exclusively in Croatia, meaning people on Adriatic cruises can sample a type of chocolate that is found nowhere else in the world. The award-winning snack comes in ten different flavours. Marinko Biskic, the producer of the chocolate, said: "I am delighted by the recognition but also very surprised because this year's fair featured a lot of original and very attractive domestic food products. "I was also surprised by the very positive criticism of my chocolate." People on Croatia sailing holidays can try all sorts of delicacies in Split, including seafood dishes made with locally caught fish. ![]() |
