The city of Split, a popular destination among people taking Adriatic cruises, will soon boast a new attraction
in the form of an energy-efficient retail centre.A loan of 68 million (£59.9 million) has been approved by the European Bank for Reconstitution and Development to support the development of the shopping area, Balkans Business News reported. One of the main organisations involved in the project is the Kaufmann Group, which also owns and operates City Center One in Zagreb, one of the capital's leading retail centres. City Center One Split will feature a variety of outlets for visitors to browse through, as well as a number of advanced techniques and measures to ensure its eco-friendliness. Travellers who visit Split during a Croatia sailing holiday can also see some of its museums and historical landmarks, such as Diocletian's Palace. The Adriatic cruise hotspot is the second largest city in Croatia after Zagreb. ![]() |
