One of last summer's ultimate Croatia holiday destinations for music fans, the Garden Festival
in Petrcane, has been nominated for a European Festival Award. The Zadar Garden Festival is up for the Best Small Festival award this year, after enjoying a summer of sun-soaked Adriatic cruises off the coast of Zadar. Fans who enjoyed the Croatia sailing experience put the festival up for nomination, with additional visitors able to vote online for the event. Last year saw a whole host of DJs descend on the 900 year old village of Petrcane, with an array of DJs and entertainment options available to visitors. Chief among these was Croatia cruises, which provided just one of the many opportunities to take in the country by boat. Adriatic cruises along the Balkan country's warm coastline have proven to be a popular accompaniment to the range of music festivals on offer in Croatia, with the Garden Festival proving no exception. House DJ Larry Heard is a firm favourite at the Garden Festival and could well be one of the many who look to vote for event in the European Festival Awards. "I enjoyed the tranquil beach setting, the great musical backdrops and the people a lot," he said. Voting closes in December. ![]() |
