 Sports fans looking forward to Croatia sailing holidays next month will have the opportunity to start their break
by attending a world-class tennis event.One of the quarter-finals of the 2009 Davis Cup will see Croatia take on the United States between July 10th and 12th. Travellers about to embark on Croatia sailing holidays will be able to head to the Sportska Dvorana stadium in Porec to see the contest, which will be played indoors on clay. It was recently confirmed that Andy Roddick and James Blake would be playing for the US at the event in Porec. Croatia's Davis Cup team includes the likes of Ivo Karlovic and Marin Cilic, both of whom have appeared at Wimbledon this year. After watching the tennis action, holidaymakers can make the short trip from Porec to Opatija to start their Croatia sailing trip. Travellers can embark on an Adriatic cruise from Opatija that visits destinations including the island of Rab and the coastal city of Zadar.  |
