 People planning a Croatia sailing holiday this year might be interested in visiting the city of Rijeka before
setting off on their journey to see a popular annual event.The Fiumanka regatta attracts yachtsmen from around the world to the Adriatic coast every year. It provides a memorable sight for people on Croatia holidays as a host of yachts with towering white sails gather near the Rijeka seafront. The event sees participants race from the northern city to Omisalj, a small town in the north-west of the island of Krk, another destination that travellers can visit during a Croatia sailing holiday.
