Travellers will be able to stop off in Zadar during a Croatia sailing holiday this year to enjoy
some live theatre in the city.The Zadar Summer of Theatre festival will get underway on June 29th and run until August 4th. Performances are staged at historical buildings along the city's coast, which have been popular among people taking Adriatic cruises for many years. Visitors will be able to see a variety of productions, including gripping thrillers and dramas, as well as dance shows and live gigs by musicians from Croatia and around the world. Travellers can also explore Zadar to see some of its sights and landmarks, including the Roman Forum and the church of St Donatus, which has a history stretching back to the ninth century. The city features on an Adriatic cruise route that starts in the port of Opatija and visits some of the most scenic destinations on the Dalmatian coast, including the islands of Krk, Rab and Cres. ![]() |
