Music lovers taking Croatia holidays this summer will be able to enjoy some entertainment at an inaugural event taking
place in Split. The city's first ever chamber music festival will begin tomorrow (August 26th) and continue until September 5th, featuring a series of live performances at the municipal museum. A total of six concert evenings will feature on the programme, with more than 20 musicians in 15 different groups set to take part, according to the Croatian Times. Museum director Elvira Saric Kostic told the newspaper that the venue had offered the use of its hall for free in order to support young musicians and offer a wider range of experiences to visitors. People planning a trip to Split's city museum during an Adriatic cruise will be able to hear renditions of music by famous composers such as Beethoven and Schubert. The attraction also hosts a range of permanent and changing exhibitions that travellers might be interested in seeing during a Croatia holiday. ![]() |
