Exciting getaways such as Croatia sail and cycle holidays are now more accessible for consumers than ever before, according to
a travel expert.Simon Calder, radio presenter and senior travel editor at the Independent, pointed out that foreign trips now take up less of the average person's income than they did in the past. The availability of flights and the range of experiences and activities on offer overseas means it is now fairly simple for travellers to arrange memorable breaks such as cycle holidays in Croatia. Mr Calder said: "We are still, in terms of relative incomes for people who are fortunate enough to be employed, in a far better position than was the case 20 years ago. "It costs a smaller fraction of your income to get away." Mr Calder is one of the experts who will be appearing at the Adventure Travel Live show this month. People planning Croatia sail and cycle holidays can prepare for their trip by attending the event at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London between January 29th and 31st. ![]() |
