 A walk in the Biokovo mountains is one of the 'must-do' activities for travellers who visit Makarska during a Croatia sailing holiday, according to the local tourist board.The city's tourism agency recommended a number of locations in the region, including the Vosak peak. Visitors can take a walk through the mountainous landscape and enjoy views that encompass the Makarska Riviera. Eagle-eyed tourists might also be able to spot nearby islands such as Brac and Hvar, which can be visited during an Adriatic cruise. A particularly special experience will be on offer to people who visit the Biokovo mountains in the evening, with the sunset over the islands providing some unforgettable views. Goulash, salads and wine are also served from stone houses in the area.
