| Take an Adriatic cruise to drink 'liquid gems' |

Holidaymakers planning an Adriatic cruise or any other Croatia holiday this year have been encouraged to
try some of the country's wines.Writing for the Sydney Morning Herald, Belinda Jackson describes some of the produce that comes from vineyards along the Dalmatian coast as Croatia's "liquid gems". She adds: "Great wine tastes better in great surroundings, so the views of Croatia's beaches and villages should make its renowned red wines, Postup and Dingac, simply superb." Ms Jackson recommended a visit to some of the vineyards located close to Dubrovnik, one of the most popular destinations for travellers to visit during a Croatia sailing holiday. According to the official website for the island of Hvar, Dingac was the first Croatian wine to receive protection from an International Convention in Geneva. Travellers planning Croatia sailing holidays were advised by the site to try Postup for its "full, harmonious aroma" and combine it with foods such as venison and grilled fish. ![]() |
