Travellers planning to fly to or from Zagreb during Croatia holidays in the future could find it easier
and cheaper to reach the city. Croatian daily newspaper Vjesnik reported that leading low-cost carriers Ryanair and easyJet will be introducing new routes from Zagreb to several European destinations. Zagreb airport boss Tonci Peovic told the news provider that he had been in negotiations with the airlines, both of which have their biggest hubs in the UK. Croatia sailing holidays look set to become a more accessible option for people all over Europe this summer, with budget airlines Spanair and Norwegian Air also set to launch flights to the country. A visit to Zagreb can offer some sophistication and culture to accompany the relaxation and adventure on offer during a Croatia sailing holiday. Ryanair already flies to Pula and Zadar from London Stansted, while easyJet offers services to Dubrovnik from Gatwick, Stansted and Liverpool and to Split from Bristol. ![]() |
