Travellers planning to stop off in Dubrovnik during a Croatia sailing holiday this year might be interested in
arranging an excursion to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovnia.A visit to the city was described by the Dubrovnik Travel website as "one of the best day trips" on offer to holidaymakers in the area. Mostar is the largest city in the Herzegovina region, boasting a picturesque setting on the Neretva river about 40 miles from Dubrovnik. One of the sights for travellers to look out for if they visit Mostar during a Croatia sailing holiday is the famous Stari Most bridge, which links the two sides of the city. Dubrovnik Travel encouraged visitors to explore the Ottoman Quarter, which is home to historic attractions including 16th century mosques and Turkish-style houses.
