Sail Croatia Reservations Consultants

Based in our office in Englefield Green (near Egham), this position would best suit someone with a travel agency/reservations background, although someone with a strong administrative background could also suit. Knowledge of Croatia would be advantageous, but not essential.

All of our bookings are processed online (with some over the phone), so we are looking for someone with excellent written grammar and a warm telephone manner. As such, your typing skills must also be accurate and fast to meet our high level of demand. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess superior attention to detail and be able to meet and exceed customer expectations consistently.

Salary is 18k per annum - neg. We have scope to look at the option of working onboard our boats as a Representative for part of the summer season in 2012 (for the right candidate). Onboard Sail Croatia Representatives

Based in Croatia, this is a live-onboard role on our cruise boats.

You will have a strong leadership background through your experience in previous guiding/cruise boat roles. You will be responsible for customer relations onboard our Navigator boats (21-35s) and working as part of a team of other representatives and captains/crews to resolve issues and make our customer experience as enjoyable as possible.

You will represent Sail Croatia as the face of the business: Welcoming and advising customers from when they first come onboard, delivering essential daily information on destinations and excursions, resolving any problems they encounter on their journey, assisting with injuries and accidents, maintaining health and safety onboard, ensuring the standard and quality of the product are exceeding customer expectations and reporting to head office.

Key Responsibilities: Customer Service and Relations - Organisation of excursions and day tours – Delivering essential information to guests on destinations -Coordination of captains and crews.

Key Requirements: Tour Leader/Guide/Cruise Experience – Excellent knowledge of Croatia and the wider region - Highly Organised - Excellent Communication: Verbal & Written - Proficient in MS Office programmes including Excel, Word and Outlook - Croatian language skills: Either Native English speaker who can speak Croatian OR Native Croatian/Bosnian/Serbian speaker with excellent English.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience. Start at 800 GBP per month plus accommodation, breakfast + lunch onboard, commission and end-of-season performance bonus. Positions to be confirmed in Dec/Jan.

Duration: April 2012 to October 2012. Croatian passport holders can work all or part of this period, depending on availability. Passport holders from other countries will work on a 90-day work permit.

Area Managers

Area Managers are an essential part of our Sail Croatia Team. As an Area Manager you are responsible for marketing of Sail Croatia in your country/region.

 

As an Area Manager you will be highly proactive and creative in your approach to marketing our brand. You will be well connected in your social networks with a passion for interacting with people and representing the concept of Sail Croatia within your peer groups. You will be looking to build on your networks introducing the brand to the right markets using your own initiative. We will provide you will all the relevant branding materials.

 

This role is perfect as a part time job for a student or someone looking to supplement your regular day job. Please note that this role is commission-based and ideally suited to past customers that understand and have a passion for the experience our business offers: swimming, socializing, and exploring the Croatian islands!

 

To be an Area Manager you must display plenty of self motivation, be entrepreneurial, positive with a lot of energy. You will have a high understanding of your market and the potential opportunities that are within it. You will be looking to build on the success on your own market creation looking to further grow sales in these areas.
