Saturday SPLIT - OMIŠ/PUCIŠCA

Hidden BayDeparture from Split harbour, Saturday at 13:00. After lunch we sail along the Dalmatian coast down to Omiš. We spend the afternoon swimming in the crystal clear sea. Overnight in the port of Omiš. Omiš is a picturesque town surrounded with steep rocky mountain cliffs, where the river Cetina flows into the Adriatic sea. The afternoon is free to explore the old town of Omiš and discover the glorious and long history through the many historical monuments. Pučišća is typical Mediterranean place, situated on the northern side of the island of Brač at the bottom of the deep bay. It is the home of the world famous stone of Brač, and you can find one of the few remaining stone-masonry workshops in Europe.

Sunday OMIŠ/PUCIŠCA - KORCULA

By the time you reach the deck area in the morning, Omiš will already be behind you. After a morning swim, we cruise toward Korčula – the birthplace of Marco Polo. Lunch on board will be served either on the tip of the Pelješac peninsula (near Lovište) or in the quiet bay of Kneza on Korčula. Arrival in Korčula in the afternoon where you are free to do your own sightseeing. According to legend, Korčula was found by Trojan hero Anthenor in the 12th century BC. On this island you can find more legends, tales and monuments than anywhere else. Overnight in port.

Monday KORCULA - LASTOVO

As a prelude to more cruising, we suggest a short walk through the open market in Korčula where you can buy lovely fresh fruit to enjoy during the day. We continue our cruise towards Lastovo, the furthest, inhabited island in Dalmatia. Docked in the port of Ubli, you have the opportunity to discover the unspoilt nature and wild woods of this island. Lastovo is surrounded by many smaller islands, with plenty of bays suitable for snorkeling. Lastovo is also known for many little churches and unusual chimneys.

Tuesday LASTOVO - Ravnik (Green Cave) – KOMIŽA/VIS

Early in the morning we head towards the island of Vis, which for many years was closed to tourists. Vis was, because of its unique geographical position, a strategic harbour for the navy. As a result of this isolation, Vis has a special charm of the ‘Mediterranean as it once was’. Near Vis, there is the little island of Ravnik, where the Green Cave is situated. Named after the unusual light that reflects in the sea from the hole on the top of the cave, if you are willing, you can take a swim here. Depending on the weather conditions, we sail on to the town of Komiža or Vis for the overnight stop. Komiža is on the western part of the island, where you can enjoy exploring the narrow alleys and rich heritage, or the pebble beaches with freshwater springs, that stretch along the whole eastern side of Komiža bay. The town of Vis is situated on the northern side of the island, near the remains of ancient Issa, the first settlement in Croatia, formed by the Greeks in 4th century B.C.

Wednesday KOMIŽA/VIS – Biševo (Blue Cave) – STARIGRAD

Blue CavesEarly in the morning we sail towards the little island of Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a beautiful natural phenomenon. Weather conditions can be unpredictable so the possibility of visiting the Cave will depend on the conditions on the day, however you will be notified about this by your captain/crew. After a short visit to Komiža/Vis (the one that we didn't spend the previous night in), we continue our sail towards Starigrad on the island of Hvar, which is the sunniest Adriatic island. In the afternoon, you are free to explore this unique town and the surrounding fields, which are the oldest in Croatia. Together with the town itself, Starigrad is a World Heritage Site protected by UNESCO.

Thursday STARIGRAD - STOMORSKA

Early in the morning we cruise toward the beautiful Šolta island, which is luckily not yet overcrowded by too many inhabitants or new buildings. Šolta is well known for its excellent, dark olive oil and lovely little fisherman ports. In one of such villages – Stomorska – we stay the night and have the opportunity to enjoy excellent fresh fish and other delicacies of this unique island.

Friday STOMORSKA - SPLIT

sail_croatia_nightboat.jpgThe last day is spend mostly swimming in the different bays of Šolta island or the neighboring island of Brač – before we return to Split. We continue cruising while enjoying the view of the Split Riviera, arriving in Split in the late afternoon. Split is a monumental city under UNESCO protection that belongs not only to Croatians, but also to everyone who want to enjoy its history and beauty. Here we find an abundance of Roman architecture – of special interest is the Diocletian palace, where you can join a guided tour with an English-speaking guide.
