Departure from Split harbour, Saturday at 13:00. We sail and spend the afternoon swimming in a quiet bay, before enjoying an early dinner on the boat. Overnight in Rogoznica or Primošten (depending on situation in the port)- both are small villages that offer remarkable wine -the famous 'Babic' wine.
Today we sail out to the region of the famous Kornati National Park - rich in fish, and cultural and historic remains. Ruins of old Ilyrian fortress, Roman villas, the old Christian church of St. Mary and medieval fortresses and settlements add to the value of these islands. Kornati consists of 140 islands and reefs. The inlets of some islands descend steeply into the sea, a hundred metres deep in places, and dramatically razor sharp, and are truly remarkable to see. Overnight in Sali on Dugi Otok island.
For swimming we stop in one of the bays and after lunch we visit an old Dalmatian town, Trogir (a Greek relief from the 4th century was found here). Trogir is sometimes referred to as "miniature Venice"- it has masterful architecture.
