Our business and our boats are all family owned and as such we know how important it is to get some quality time in with our families - especially whilst on holiday. We are often asked about the suitability of children onboard the boats and if the trips overall will work with families. As a parent myself I would only  recommend it for children that are confident swimmers which for most maybe from around 6 years and above, maybe even a little older. We wouldn't consider it to be suitable for toddlers as you will need to be watching your child at every stage whilst on the boats, which isn't the best way to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

The trips are really well suited to older kids however (mums and dads included), as well as teens. Activities such as snorkelling in the bays and exploring the rocky shoreline, maybe jumping off the boats and taking up some of the more active options through the trip such as river rafting on the Centina, or hiring a bike or kayak around Mljet National Park - all are sure to be popular. In the ports there is plenty of exploring of the old towns including ancient fortifications such as the spectacular Dubrovnik walls or the hill fort in Hvar. This along with the constantly changing scenery is a great alternative to the same beach and pool holidays. Breakfasts and lunches are taken care of - so no cooking for mums (or in my case dads), and dinner in a different port will give lots of variations on  local restaurants.

Kids under the age of 10 get a 50% discount off our prices and we will try our best to match a couple of families up (where possible) so the kids can meet others whilst keeping a balance so adults onboard can still relax.

We would recommend any of our Traditional Cruises as suitable routes and particularly Route 2 or Route 5.
