Position Overview:

As the Crew Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of skilled crew members to provide exceptional service and unforgettable experiences to our guests. Your leadership, organization, and passion for the maritime industry will be instrumental in delivering seamless charters and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Crew Selection: Recruit, hire, and onboard crew members, ensuring they meet the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and service mindset of the crew.
  • Scheduling: Manage crew schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for charters and guest services.
  • Performance Management: Set performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback to enhance crew performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Guest Experience: Oversee crew interactions with guests, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Duty Manager: Manage departure days, overseeing customer care, planning and support for all team members as needed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with maritime regulations, prioritizing the well-being of guests and crew.
  • Logistics Support: Collaborate with the Base Manager and maintenance team to coordinate provisioning, logistics, yacht movements, and yacht preparation.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address crew and guest concerns promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive and cooperative working environment.
  • Budget Management: Manage crew-related expenses within the allocated budget, optimizing resources for efficiency.
  • Maintenance Support: Support the team's additional crew resource needs during peak maintenance periods.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Skippers License with experience in the Croatia charter industry
  • Proven experience in crew management, ideally within the charter industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sailing and maritime operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
  • Customer-focused mindset and a commitment to guest and crew satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant management software.
