Sailing in Croatia: Discover The Adriatic At Your Own Pace

Sailing in Croatia: Discover The Adriatic At Your Own Pace

There are more than 1000 islands to explore in Croatia, hundreds of miles of pristine coastline and not to mention all those hidden caves and secluded beaches where you can drop anchor, relax and enjoy the deep, blue waters of the Adriatic. And one of the best ways to experience the very best of the Adriatic, is by chartering your very own yacht and exploring the Adriatic at your own pace.

One of the greatest advantages about sailing in Croatia on your own yacht, is that you’re in total control on your itinerary. Group sailing tours have their charm; that is true, but there often comes a time when the thought of being on a yacht with unfamiliar faces loses its appeal or when you’d rather decide your own journey – and with private yacht charter, you’re in control – literally!

Sailing Yacht Sailing Yacht

Based in Split ACI Marina (Split Harbour), we provide a service as streamline as the yachts themselves. For those who have sailing experience, you have the option to hire one of our yachts or catamarans and sail your own way throughout the islands. Our enthusiastic team of experienced local skippers and ground staff are able to assist with your pre departure procedures to ensure you get out on the water as soon as possible. For those who aren't confident skippers, or fancy the idea of having someone else at the helm, that’s not a problem either – we have experienced local skippers at hand who can provide you with additional Croatian knowledge of all the best places to stop and swim as well as using their local contacts to find the best places to moor and the best local restaurants in each area you visit.

Looking for the ultimate service? You may also wish to hire an onboard hostess who will be on call to take care of the yacht throughout the week, tidying up, washing dishes and preparing meals – leaving you with maximum time to relax and immerse yourself with the Croatian cultures & cuisines.

Croatia Islands

Spending the day on the deck of a yacht, enjoying a gentle summer breeze and taking in the wonderful Croatian landscapes is a treat, especially when you’re surrounded with your family and friends. Hopping from island to island discovering new bays also has its charm, and to help, we’ve created three recommended itineraries that we feel truly represent what this country stands for. The friendliness of the locals will amaze you, as will the rich and delectable local dishes and wines. The islands we recommended are not so heavily promoted, and in turn, are less crowded; so if you are up for some peace and quiet, make sure to fit them into your itinerary.

By all means, don’t let this deter you from visiting more popular islands, such as Hvar and Brač though as they are much bigger destinations and have more variety of things to see and do on dry land.

Regardless of the places you decide to visit on your sailing adventure, you can rest assured that you will be surrounded by beautiful nature, lovely weather and hospitable locals. Sailing in Croatia is a vacation for the soul and the senses and once which you and your family and friends will enjoy every minute of.
