The 3 Day Hens Cruise is the ultimate cruise experience for those that are looking for an Island Hopping Hens Vacation.

Departing from Split, this cruise will head south to the Makarska Riviera, famous for its pirate and sailor themed club in a cave, before hitting up the nightlife capital that is Hvar Island. Choose to party your way through the island with its plethora of beach bars, nightclubs and cocktail bars, or opt for the Wine Tasting excursion that takes place at an organic Croatian ranch.

On day 3 the cruise will head back to the seaside city of Split for one final night, but not before another incredible swim stop in a secluded bay!

Itinerary Highlights
  • Discover Diocletian's Palace in Split
  • Party through Hvar's famous nightclubs including Carpe Diem & Hula Hula Bar
  • Experience the famous Pirate Party in a natural cave in Makarska
  • Taste local wines at the UNESCO protected Stari Grad Plain
  • Zip-line through the Cetina Canyon
Split, Croatia

Split is well-known for the fortresslike complex at its center, Diocletian's Palace, erected by the Roman emperor in the 4th century.

Once home to thousands, its sprawling remains include more than 200 buildings. Within its white stone walls and under its courtyards and galleries are bars, shops, cafes, cathedrals, hotels and several houses.

Check-in at Split Port between 10.30am and 12.00pm. Your ship will depart the harbour at 1pm, kicking off your 3 day island hopping adventure!

Makarska, Croatia
Day 1

Leaving Split behind, we'll have lunch onboard before stopping for a swim at one of the secluded bays en route to the Makarska Riviera.

Makarska nestles under the massive peaks of the Biokovo mountain range, with Mt Jure being the highest seaside peak on the Mediterranean. Nights in Makarska are reserved for pirates and sailors! Get ready for drinks onboard with your shipmates before heading out on the town!

Our top recommendation: head to the infamous club "Deep", a natural cave next to the sea which rocks full of pirates and sailors into the wee hours!

Hvar, Croatia
Day 2

Shake off your Makarska induced hangover with breakfast onboard as we sail to one of Croatia’s largest islands; Hvar! After lunch onboard, we stop for a swim at a secluded bay just outside Hvar Town.

Hvar Town is well known for its super-yachts, celebrity status and epic nightlife, which includes the likes of Hula Hula Bar, Carpe Diem and Nautica Bar. If you’re ready to party until dawn, you've come to the right place!

This afternoon you’ll have the option to climb the hill and explore the 16th Century Fortress overlooking the harbour or visit the UNESCO protected World Heritage site of Stari Grad, where you can explore a local farm and experience Croatian wine at its best!

Please Note: The docking time in Hvar Town can be early evening in peak season due to port authority restrictions. However, to arrive earlier, a water taxi transfer can be arranged for 3 Euros per person (payable locally).

Split, Croatia
Day 3

From Hvar, we make our way back to Split, stopping for a swim and onboard lunch at one of the secluded coastal beaches along the way.

Your ship will dock in Split in the afternoon, allowing you the early evening to explore this beautiful city and it's UNESCO protected Diocletian's Palace, complete with Roman architecture dating back to the 4th Century!

Tonight we'll have a final family dinner, before heading to Bar Paradiso for farewell cocktails.

Optional Excursions
Split, Croatia
Day 4

This morning it's time for an early onboard breakfast, before saying goodbye to the crew and all of your new friends.

Please Note: It is possible for you to leave the ship as early as needed on day 4 to catch flights, as all ships will stay in Split on the evening of Day 3.

What is the 3 Day Hens Cruise?

The 3 Day Hens Cruise is a party cruise tailored to suit groups celebrating a hens vacation. This special cruise takes in the best destinations and nightlife Croatia has to offer! This cruise is 18+

What time do cruises start/finish?

All ships depart on either Thursday or Sunday at 13:00. Check-in is between 10.30am and 12.30pm. Ships return to Split port on day 3, with check-out commencing between 8am and 9am on day 4.

What are the cabin arrangements?

Cabins are based on 2 sharing, and consist of twin beds, bunk beds or one double bed. On some ships, we also have triple cabins available. Triple cabins consist of a double bed and a single bunk.

Please let us know your cabin preferences when you enquire and our Sales Team will be able to recommend the best ship and cabin configuration for your group.

What is the difference between Above Deck and Below Deck cabins?

Above Deck cabins are on the Main Deck of the ship or just above it. Lower Deck cabins are in the hull of the ship. There are pros and cons to both - Lower Deck cabins are often cooler and quieter at night, as you do not have other travellers walking past your cabin as much as the Above Deck cabins. Above Deck cabins offer more natural light and ventilation and most open out onto the sea. Each ship is unique and therefore the layout varies from ship to ship.

Please note: On some of the boats the above deck cabins are located on 2 levels, i.e. on the main deck and on an upper deck.

Which ship type would suit me?

We have 2 ship types available on the 3 Day Hens Cruise; Standard and Ensuite. Standard ships are the cheapest option and have shared bathroom facilities, whereas Ensuite ship cabins have their own toilet and shower.

How many bathrooms and toilets are there on Standard ships?

On average there are 4 or 5 toilets/showers on the Standard boats. The ratio is around 1 toilet/shower to every 5-6 travellers.

What food is included?

Breakfast and a 3-course lunch are included daily on all cruises. Dinner is not included, as we encourage our clients to explore the local towns in the evening, experiencing local food and wine! Of course we can offer suggestions on the best places to go! Breakfast onboard Standard and Ensuite ships is continental style and includes bread and spreads. You can pay an English breakfast supplement of 40 Euros/week if you would prefer a cooked breakfast daily (payable onboard).

Can I bring food and drink onboard?

You cannot bring food and drink onboard the ship, except for items that fill specific dietary requirements. Each boat has its own bar and drinks consumed onboard (including bottled water) must be purchased from here. You have unlimited access to the onboard water cooler during the salon opening times. We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle with you onboard, and filling this up before the salon closes for the evening.

How do I buy drinks onboard?

All drinks, and optional onboard dinners will be added to your bar tab. Bar tabs are recorded throughout the week and are payable in cash (Croatian Kuna) at the end of your cruise.

Are there any local payments that I need to be aware of?

A local payment of 30 Euros per person is payable onboard your Sail Croatia Cruise. This payment incorporates port fees and tourist taxes throughout the week and is subject to change.

What type of luggage should I bring?

If you’re joining us from within Europe, we highly recommend limiting your luggage to one suitcase; however, we understand that this might not be possible for international travellers who are flying in just for the cruise, or on extended trips. Unless you’re booked on a Premier or Premier Plus Ship, your Ensuite or Standard Ship’s cabin won’t be overly large as these are traditional Croatian Ships and storage is limited. In most cabins, you will be able to store bags under the bed; however, in the case of excess luggage, please ask check-in staff to give you additional information about possible storage.
