What is the Mini Elegance Cruises?

The Mini Elegance Cruise is tailored to be a shorter version of an Elegance Cruise; our most luxurious cruise type, aimed at couples and mature travellers looking for a mix of sightseeing and relaxation. These cruises sail on a 3 day Split - Dubrovnik one way route, or 4 day Dubrovnik to Split one way route, from April to June. The Mini Elegance Cruise operates on our top of the range ships, offering the highest level of luxury and comfort onboard.

What are the departure/arrival times?

The 3 Day Split - Dubrovnik route departs on a Sunday at 1pm from Split, and finishes in Dubrovnik on Day 4 at 3pm.

The 4 Day Dubrovnik - Split route departs on a Wednesday at 5pm from Dubrovnik, and finishes at 9am in Split on Day 5.

Are transfers between the airport and the port included?

As part of your Mini Elegance cruise, transfers are included between the airport and your hotel, or straight to the ship on the start day of your cruise. Transfers from the ship to the airport are also included on the last day of your cruise. Please advise your flight details (flight number, arrival/departure time) at least 5 days before departure by emailing our Reservations Team on [email protected] Once we have this information we will be happy to arrange these for you.

What ages are onboard the ship?

The minimum age onboard the Mini Elegance cruise is 18. If you are looking for a Sail Croatia experience with children younger than 18 years old, you may be interested in our Private Yacht Tours!

What are the cabin arrangements?

Cabins on the Mini Elegance cruise are our most luxurious and spacious cabins, consisting of a Twin or Double bed, ensuite and air-conditioning. Twin or Double bed cabins are confirmed during the booking stage, so please let us know your preferences. On some ships, we also have Triple cabins available. Triple cabins consist of a double bed and a single bunk, and we provide a 10% discount per person. Each cabin is approximately 10-12 square meters (including the ensuite).

What is the difference between Above Deck and Below Deck cabins?

Above Deck cabins are located on the main deck of the ship and may have internal or external access. The Lower Deck cabins are situated in the hull of the ship and are accessed via stairs from the main deck down into the hull. The Lower Deck cabins are slightly more affordable than the Above Deck cabins, however they are usually slightly larger in size as there is no walk-way around the outside. They are also often cooler and quieter in the evenings. The main benefit with the Above Deck cabins is that they are on the main or upper deck, easily accessible without having to use the stairs!

Above Deck Lower Deck
Above water level At water level
On the main deck Below the main deck
No stairs* Large portholes
  Quieter
  Cooler during the hot months
Generally larger cabins* (due to lack of walkway)
  Lower in price

*Dependent on ship, see ship plans below for more details.

I am travelling by myself. Is there a Single supplement?

For those that are in odd numbered groups, or travelling solo, you will share your cabin with another like-minded traveller of the same sex.

What meals are served onboard?

Each morning the onboard cook will prepare a buffet breakfast, complete with hot and cold dishes. A traditional three course lunch is prepared by the onboard cook, and one evening meal is included on all the Mini Elegance Cruise; a Local Village Dinner (3 Day Itinerary) or a Captain's dinner (4 Day Itinerary). On the other evenings, we encourage you to explore the local towns and experience Dalmatian cuisine. Your onboard Tour Manager will be able to offer suggestions on the best places to eat at each destination!

I am a vegetarian or have a special dietary request - do you cater for me?

Our onboard cook is able to cater for vegetarians and travellers with special dietary requests. If you are allergic to certain foods, please specify in advance what this includes. We will note this so the cook can be prepared.

Are there any local payments that I need to be aware of?

A local payment of 30 Euros per person is payable onboard your Sail Croatia Cruise. This payment incorporates port fees and tourist taxes throughout the week and is subject to change.

What type of luggage should I bring?

If you’re joining us from within Europe, we highly recommend limiting your luggage to one suitcase; however, we understand that this might not be possible for international travellers who are flying in just for the cruise, or on extended trips. In most cabins, you will be able to store bags under the bed; however, in the case of excess luggage, please ask check-in staff to give you additional information about possible storage.

Am I able to use the jacuzzi onboard 24/7?

You’re welcome to relax in the onboard jacuzzi throughout your cruise. Please note that the jacuzzi may not be available at all times due to conditions such as electricity consumption, fresh water usage onboard and weather conditions.
