Split Return (South) Itinerary TWO
DAY 1 | Start

Split, a town on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, is known for its beaches and the fortresslike complex at its center, Diocletian's Palace, erected by the Roman emperor in the 4th century. Once home to thousands, its sprawling remains include more than 200 buildings. Within its white stone walls and under its courtyards and galleries are shops, bars, cafes, cathedrals, hotels and several houses.

Check-in is from 10.30am to 12.00pm (midday). Please note your cabin may not be ready until 12:30pm. Your ship will depart the harbour at 1pm sharp.

DAY 1 | Overnight Stay

We depart Split harbour at 13:00. Lunch is followed by a swim stop at one of the secluded bays en route to Hvar. Hvar is the longest island in the Adriatic and is famous for its super-yachts and celebrity status. Climb the hill and explore the 7th Century Fortress overlooking the harbour, before checking out the famous Hvar nightlife, which includes the likes of Hula Hula Bar, Carpe Diem and Nautica Bar.

Please Note:

The docking time in Hvar can be early evening in peak season due to port authority restrictions. However, if guests would like to arrive earlier, water taxi transfers can be arranged for 3 Euros per person (payable locally).

DAY 2 | Overnight Stay

We depart Hvar early on day 2 and sail south to one of the bays near Loviste on the Peljesac peninsula, for a refreshing swim. We'll then continue on to Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo, where we will spend the night. After dinner, we'll work our way towards Dos Locos bar for the best street party atmosphere on the island before following the locals inside the Old Town walls to continue the party!

Optional Activities

DAY 3 | Overnight Stay

After breakfast we depart for Dubrovnik. Enjoy the beautiful sights as we cruise towards "heaven on earth" - according to the famous writer George Bernard Shaw. We arrive in Dubrovnik early afternoon. Explore the 13th century old town, with its 1,940m long city walls and discover hidden gems such as cafes perched along the walls, where you can sit back and watch the sunsets. Later in the evening there are plenty of late night hangouts to keep you awake into the early hours.

Optional Activities

DAY 4 | Overnight Stay

We leave Dubrovnik in the morning and head north through the Elaphite islands, where we will stop for a swim before heading onto Mljet National Park. We arrive in the late afternoon, giving you time to explore the stunning salt lakes in the National Park and relax on this peaceful island. We will overnight in the port of Polace or Pomena.

DAY 5 | Overnight Stay

Today we will sail back up the Dalmatian coast to the Makarska Riviera. We spend the afternoon swimming at one of the beautiful bays along the way, before arriving into Makarska in the afternoon. Makarska nestles under the massive peaks of the Biokovo mountain range, with Mt Jure being the highest seaside peak on the Mediterranean. Tonight we'll head to the infamous club "Deep", a natural cave next to the sea which rocks full of pirates and sailors into the wee hours!

DAY 6 | Overnight Stay

Today we'll leave Makarska behind and head towards the island of Hvar, the longest and one of the most well-known islands in the Adriatic, mooring overnight in the quaint harbour of Stari Grad. Situated on the northern side of the island, Stari Grad is the oldest town in Croatia, dating back to 384BC. The town boasts an attractive network of narrow streets and small squares, with plenty of restaurants and bars around the harbour.

DAY 7 | Overnight Stay

From Stari Grad, we make our way back to Split, stopping for a swim and onboard lunch at one of the hidden coastal beaches along the way. Your ship will dock in Split in the afternoon, allowing you the early evening to explore Split and it's UNESCO protected Diocletian's Palace, complete with Roman architecture dating back to the 4th Century! Tonight we'll have a final family dinner, before heading to Bar Paradiso for farewell cocktails.

DAY 8 | Finish

This morning it's time for an early onboard breakfast, before saying goodbye to the crew and all of your new friends. Please note, it is possible for you to leave the ship as early as needed on Saturday morning to catch flights, as all ships will be in port by Friday night. Planning your onward travel? Why not join us on a Med Experience tour through the Croatian National Parks, or hop the Greek Islands with us!
