The self-draining cockpit has been equipped with two steering wheel consoles, solid wood benches, two lockers beneath the helm's feet, a liferaft locker under helm seat (in cockpit bottom) and a gas locker for bottles under the port helm seat. In addition, two Harken winches and pulley systems, as well as a genoa traveller adjustment, provide yet another appealing characteristic.
Interior & Cabins
The spacious interior can actually be laid out in three different, yet creative ways. One possible layout is to have a two-cabin, one-head version, another possibility is having three cabins and a one head compartment, and the third option is to have three cabins and two head compartments.
The interior of the boat is an important part of any sailing experience. In this case, sailing onboard Oceanis 41 Express will be one luxurious adventure. The interior is equipped with quality parquet style laminate floors, fabric hull linings in the saloon and cabins, and is complete with fabric upholstery. Two stainless steel handrails and a wooden saloon companionway with moulded wood steps and a non-slip surface, make walking through boat safe at all times.
The saloon area, where the guests spend a lot of their time, has a U-shaped saloon bench and a stable table consisting of a varnished wood top with inlay and aluminium legs. Although the space on any sailing boat is always limited to some extent, the new Oceanis 41 Express has a solution to any storage problem. Apart from cupboards, there are shelves with stainless steel fiddles and storage along the hull, as well as the possibility for storage under the bench seats.
Moreover, in order not the miss the beautiful panoramic views from the outside, the indoor area includes two coachroof panoramic windows, two hull portholes, two opening portholes, side windows and one opening deck hatch with a blind.
