As a travel professional for decades, I have been fortunate to experience many incredible trips. This one personally ranks near the very top of my list. Why? Because Croatia is simply a destination that is hard to fully describe — the history, the food culture, the beauty of the coastline, and most importantly, the warmth of the people. Our Catamaran was pristine, comfortable, and perfect for this style of travel. The Skipper and Hostess were absolutely wonderful — gracious, professional, and clearly trained in hospitality, always making sure we were taken care of while still allowing the trip to feel relaxed and effortless. What also made this experience so special was the sense of adventure. Traveling with a great group of friends, we often did not know exactly what each day would bring due to weather, ports, and changing options. But every stop, every adjustment, and every surprise turned into something memorable in its own right. This was not just a vacation-an experience!

My two siblings, their spouses and I wanted to do a siblings trip, and chose the Wines of Croatia tour, the first of the 2026 season. Anita was our cruise director, and she was what made this trip so fantastic! With only 18 passengers, it was a super fun group. Anita was so helpful and friendly, which also seems to describe most of the people we met in Croatia! She's great at planning and communicating, and a pleasure to be with. The wine events are terrific and so varied! And evenings where you may want to find a restaurant (sometimes the wine events include dinner), Anita sent us recommendations in the ports for meals and things worth seeing. Chef Silvija did a fine job, and we enjoyed "cookie time" at 11am. Glad we all opted for the Blue Lagoon (short visit, but worth the trip!). Dubrovnik was where we ended our trip - amazing place, but if I had a choice, I'd start my trip there as we had culture shock with the huge crowds. Rooms lovely, and bedding comfy. Great captain and crew!

I had a great time on the sail and cycle. It was my first experience with a trip like this and everything was wonderful. The staff was kind (they even made me hot chocolate while the adults had coffee each morning!) and very detail-oriented. The boat was clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious. The Hound Dog was the perfect boat for our group. Our Captain Andrija was very competent and delightful. We trusted in all his recommendations. Josipa was so helpful and prepared amazing food and snacks for us. Always ready with a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. Croatia is so beautiful! We had a lot of laughs and an amazing time. Would definitely recommend!

Sail Croatia Wine Cruise was wonderful! The crew and staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to make the trip a memorable event. The food was delicious, always expertly prepared and attractively presented. I was especially appreciative of the attention to detail for my food allergy. Anita was super great in planning our excursions and wine tastings. Each island stop was fun and unique for all to enjoy. Her enthusiasm was contagious! Everyone on our cruise was so kind and friendly. Croatia and the Dalmatian Islands are beautiful. It was a great adventure!

The e-bikes were great and made the cycling easy to do and not exhausting each day. The small group(32) meant good conversations and blossoming connections. The crew and guides and the place were amazing. The islands were truly beautiful.

Just being able to see so much of Croatia in a short period of time! We had fantastic guides and our crew were amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our weather was great, food was awesome, the stories and history of Croatia was a bonus. I would recommend your company to all my friends!! My only suggestion would be if you could sell the wine by the glass as opposed to the bottle! 🍷😁

We travelled from Split to Dubrovnik on their first cruise for the season ( 25 April) — boat was well equiped , cabin was very comfortable — ensuite bathroom great — meals weee ALL excellent and bar was well stocked and run ! Viscko our “ leader” for the week was well organised , very informative and knowledgeable , and was enthusiastic all week !! The crew were a great bunch , always there to help or just talk ! Swims off the back of the boat were BRACING but bloody good fun ! Loved our stops at all the islands — good variety of stops — always docked very close to cafes or the centres at each venue. We would travel with these guys on this boat again in a heartbeat !!

The itinerary was exceptional. The wine tastings were fantastic. The Romantic Star is a lovely vessel and well laid out. My only complaint is the non stop cigarette smoke from the staff (area located right beneath the outdoor lounge). The food was very good and all of the staff did an excellent job making our holiday a memorable one. Would highly recommend the wines of Croatia cruise.

We cruised from Split to Dubrovnik on Romantic Star for the Wine Tour late April. Everything was just perfect - the staff, the amazing food, great passengers, the ship itself (being very modern clean & comfortable) & our tour guide Anita made the whole trip very memorable for everyone. The weather was also perfect for walking at that time, however the water was still too cold for swimming. There were less tourists around and our boat wasn't completely full, so we had a nice group of only 19 passengers, which was perfect. I would highly recommend an Elegance cruise on the Romantic Star.

I had an amazing holiday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dino, our rep, was incredibly welcoming from the start and made everything feel easy and enjoyable. The food on the boat was outstanding throughout the trip, and the bar staff were super friendly and always brought great humour to the atmosphere. On Captain’s Dinner Night, it was especially nice to see the captain making an effort to personally talk to guests—it really added a special touch to the whole experience. Overall, a fantastic holiday that I’d highly recommend.

If you are looking to see and learn about Croatia, cycling the islands with Joško and Andro is the best way to go. They are knowledgeable and most excited to share their country. Captain Ante takes such great care of his boat, getting you there safely. I would cycle with this team anywhere anytime.

We had the best time on our Sail Croatia cruise, which exceeded our expectations in every way!! From the time we got onboard, we were completely taken care of by our guide, Dino, our servers/bartenders, Cesar & Meriko, and all the crew. We were advised after we sailed about extra charges above those we paid for the trip, 50.00 per person port taxes and harbor charges. Why were surprised by these because sail Croatia didn’t tell us. Not very nice. To be paid in cash before final disembarking.

Our tour guide Ana was awesome. So knowledgeable about the islands with her little stories of history. The meals on the Princeza Diana were fabulous! We had a great group of people on the tour which made the whole week one of our best holidays!

Best. Vacation. Of. My. Life! This was a wonderful experience. The instructor was kind, patient, and extremely helpful. I learned an extraordinary amount in just seven days. Croatia is beautiful and the people are kind. Honestly, I would do this again just because I had so much fun. I'm 53 and I made friends with people in their 20s and early 30s. I thought I'd be the old man, but they treated me so kindly. I cannot recommend this enough. Croatia is beautiful and should be experienced with a sailboat.

This was our first visit to Croatia and we loved every minute of it! We had regular bikes and found the rides challenging at times with the 'rolling hills' but so worth it for the views! Beautiful villages, coastline and crystal clear water! The tour guides, Tonka, Matilda and Elena were superb and the crew on board The Emanuel were very attentive and kind, especially Christina! Everything ran so smoothly, and for the first cruise of the season, the weather was fantastic! Made lots of new friends and had a good laugh with like-minded travellers from across the globe! Croatia definitely stole my heart!

Croatia is a beautiful country with some amazing towns with incredible medieval fortresses and buildings. Cruising among the Dalmatian islands in the Adriatic Sea on Sail Croatia's Almissa ship was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. The crew served delicious breakfasts and lunches. Caesar and Merico kept everyone well served and entertained. Dino, our tour guide, did a fantastic job and had great suggestions for places to go on our own. He was also a great source of information on the history and culture of Croatia. Our fellow travelers were great - a small cruise ship (28 people on our ship) is a great way to explore Croatia and meet so many great folks. Lots of fun!

The ship was lovely and cycle guides did a great job looking after us on the rides. ship staff also did a great job with friendliness and efficiency. The ship itself was impressive lovely cabins and great showers. Only critique cabins could be warmer on the cooler says. Heater controls made no difference.

From our cycling guides to the boat's crew to the food everything couldn't have been better. Our daily cycling had enough flexibility for those who wanted to go from point A to point B quickly could do so and those who wanted to stop and take photos could. The rides were broken up with coffee/rest stops such that there was a relaxed rather than hurry-up feeling I'd experienced on other cycling vacations. I wasn't sure how I felt about cycling in the morning rather than part morning, part afternoon with a lunch stop but I actually preferred it to other schedules. Breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold options and I never expected a 3 course lunch each day. The late April water was too cold for me to do more than a quick jump in and out but having the streets and small villages to ourselves was preferable to later in the season and having to avoid crowds. It was a wonderful experience.

Better quality ship. Emmanuel was old but clean and very middle of the road for overall amenities, a boat not a yacht; lunches were very good, breakfasts mediocre Cycling guides and routes were very good but too short ( advertise this as a leisurely cycling if e bikes being used) and the regular bycyles should not be allowed as we were constantly waiting for them to catch up. Also entrance fees to parks and historical sites should be included in the overall package. Similar to Viking make tipping a part of the trip package.

Holiday of a lifetime on a cycling cruise on board the ship Princeza Diana doing the Split return South route. Stunning boat. Very large cabins , spotless en suite , cleaned daily. Fantastic cycling guides Ana and Srjan who looked after us and talked about the history of each island. Took in amazing views, great for photo opportunities. The daily swim stops were incredible , highlight of the trip for me. Beautiful crystal clear water. Swam off the boat. Excellent food and top class hospitality from the whole crew. Good value for money. I am booking again for next year to do a hiking cruise. This is a must do trip for anyone wanting to see Croatia !!!

It was a great trip. Food was great, scenery, bikes were comfortable. Weather was fantastic for 6 out of the 7days Confirm your checkout time before you make your travel plans after your cruise. We understood checkout was 10am, therefore booked our bus to Dubrovnik for 1230pm then were told checkout was 8am. Cost us extra money for late rescheduling of our bus times to an earlier time. Our only complaint though

Both instructors were very helpful, patient and knowledgeable! I learned so much in one week on the water and feel confident in the skills they taught me. We were recommended by friends to Sail Croatia as part of a trip through Europe we planned while back and the cruise on Olimp was the highlight of our trip. A beautiful boat with a wonderful Captain, a friendly professional crew, our guide Verdan was fantastic funny and informative he was always there to help. A special mention to our waitress especially Ally who went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves.
