Anita was a perfect Cruise Director, and our experience with Sail Croatia, and the Queen Jelena was outstanding. Anita had so many ideas of ways to explore each destination that it was easy to pick the excursion experiences that were right for our family. She was always available for questions, provided endless tips and tricks to optimize our time in Croatia, and was simply delightful to be around. She said we'd leave this week feeling like a family, and she was spot on! Queen Jelena, including the Captain and crew, were gracious, passionate about service, and attentive to our every need. The food was truly EXCEPTIONAL. Hats off to the chef and sous chef...AMAZING food!!! The locations of our swim stops were fantastic. Swimming in the Adriatic Sea at these picturesque, unique little coves is something we will never forget. Thank you Anita, Sail Croatia & the Captain/Crew of Queen Jelena!

Our Skipper Ante, was fantastic. He picked up on our sense of humour straight away and joined in, becoming part of our family over the week. He was very happy to teach us how to sail the yacht and encouraged us to get involved. Our yacht, Sizzle, was beautiful. Modern, comfortable and well appointed. We arranged provisioning before we left, with Artisans of Food, which turned out very well. The itinerary from Split to Dubrovnik gave us plenty of variety from the quiet local villages of Mljet & Sipan to the bustling stops in Hvar and Korcula, and of course, swim stops in stunning bays every day! I highly recommend a private yacht tour if you have a group of friends / family who want to enjoy this stunning Croatian coast while having an active and fun adventure.

All crewmembers were absolutely amazing! From Dino, to Karlo, to Nikola and the Captain, they were all super professional and fun!! The itinerary was spot on for what we wanted to do and I really appreciate the professionalism of our Captain. We were docked next to another Sail Croatia boat at one point whose Captain was very disrespectful to the noise ordinance times and, in turn, the other boats around them. The only recommendation I have is to add lounge chairs to the top level, not just the mats. Absolutely beautiful and we had a great time!

This is my second trip with Sail Croatia, I think that says enough on how amazing they are. Every single second was so beautiful, exciting, and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Lola, was so lovely and you can tell she wants you to enjoy your time and fall in love with not only Croatia itself but the people within it. The crew on Almissa was definitely the highlight of my trip. From the captain, to the sailors, chefs, and waiters, words cannot describe how magnificent they made this week. The food is delicious and full of flavor, the cabins feel cozy, and the boat makes you feel at home. If you can book with Almissa, I can promise you that you won’t regret it. I will be returning for a third time, specifically for the Almissa crew!!!

I was with my family celebrating my birthday, Mario and Fani made for us a wonderful experience. Mario was great as a captain, we felt so secure with him, because it was our first time sailing. We can tell he is so experienced. Fani was so kind with us. Food was exceptional, she even made tacos for us, that was a very nice detail. Both of them (Mario and Fani) showed us the best of Croatia Islands! Best vacation ever, I won’t forget it!

The staff at Sail Croatia made us so comfortable - from immediately understanding and responding to my daughter's aversion to seafood, to accommodating some last minute changes to our plans. I'm a skittish eater, but the food - both on the ship and in the ports - was delicious and fresh. While excursions were available everyday, it was perfectly fine to enjoy the sundeck or the lounge instead. The bar onboard was a little expensive, and you can't bring your own drinks onboard, but Marko's Special is now a new favorite! Our Explorer trip was blessed with a dynamite group of passengers from around the world, and we were able to connect and all have fun together - the small group size of the ship is conducive to that. Finally, a special shout-out to Klara, our Cruise Director (who didn't get the reference to Julie on the Love Boat). Klara was knowledgeable about how the ship works, what's available to do in the ports, where the good food is, and where to find hair products and bandaids!

We were very excited about this trip and the cruise did not disappoint! All the crew members and our tour guide were extremely accommodating, helpful, and made our stay extremely pleasant. We loved the mix of downtime on the boat and time spent exploring all the port cities. We were very excited about all the excursions and did quite a number of them. I highly recommend the bike ride, the blue caves tour, and the Krka national park. The swim stops were absolutely gorgeous each day. Our entire boat became an extended family by the end of the trip. Highly recommend!

We had the absolute time of our lives sailing with Sail Croatia aboard the beautiful Jubilo. The catamaran itself was as advertised—each room was well-appointed and cozy. The common areas offered space to relax and take in the stunning Adriatic views. But what truly made the experience outstanding were Captain Ivan and Hostess Jelena. Ivan went above and beyond—his deep local knowledge and connections unlocked a side of the Croatian islands we never could have discovered on our own. Whether it was suggesting a hidden cove, arranging a dinner reservation, or adjusting our route for better weather, his guidance made all the difference. Jelena was equally incredible! Her meals were not just delicious but also beautifully prepared, and her company was a real highlight. Worth noting: the costs for buoys and marina use do add up and are cash-only, so definitely come prepared. There are only four bathrooms (heads) on board, so we shared one with the crew—ok, but wish we'd been told ahead.

Nearly 10 years ago we found Sail Croatia it helped us see all aspects of Croatia. We now decided to do it again and it was better than we remembered. The staff at Sail Croatia was extremely helpful and always willing to lend support and answer questions. During the trip our skipper, Igor was the perfect individual to lead us through our holiday. He allowed us to partner on the daily plans and created the perfect adventure for our family. As we reflect back on these memories we will never forget these moments. We had a great trip in June 2025. We sailed from Split to Dubrovnik on the boat Tempera (an older vessel, built in 2014). Our cabin was on the lower deck. We did have a few issues with our cabin. When we checked in, one of the beds was not made up. This was not a major issue, as we made it up ourselves. Additionally, the toilet in our cabin was running, so we alerted the crew, who advised us to flush the toilet in a specific manner. This helped, but it did not solve the problem, as the toilet still ran intermittently. The TV in our room did not work. Upon speaking to other guests, this was a common issue. The main issue was that the cabin smelled like sewage one evening. We spoke to the crew, who mentioned that a tank needed to be emptied. They emptied the tank, but again, if they could have emptied the tank in advance to prevent this from occurring, it would have improved our experience. The crew was friendly, fun, and helpful. The itinerary was great, and we loved the swim stops.

We were expecting to have a wonderful time because it’s a sailboat in Croatia. What could be better? But our trip went from wonderful to magical with our skipper, Bruno. He took the time to get to know our family so he could tailor the perfect itinerary for us. His knowledge of the islands, understanding of the weather, sailing/boating experience, and warm, friendly personality created an experience beyond our expectations. Bruno was the perfect mix of professional and personal, and our whole family enjoyed spending time with him. He took us to places well off the beaten path, guided us to many incredible landmarks, took us to extraordinary restaurants, and buoyed or anchored us in pristine, secluded coves. We will miss Bruno as much as we will miss beautiful Croatia! We can’t wait to share our experience with friends and family. We also can’t wait to come back and do it again! I did sail Croatia in June with my cousin. We were on the Tvrdi ship which was really nice I especially liked the roof for sun baking. Our rep Calum was amazing he made the whole trip, we could tell that he genuinely loved his job and was having a great time. He always kept the vibes up, had great recommendations for the islands, always very helpful, and made sure everyone was happy and having a good time. The crew was also really great making good drinks, good food, and keeping everyone happy. Aswell as this Croatia is beautiful and the water is crystal clear. Would go again in a heartbeat, definitely worth it !!.

Our week on a private yacht charter (Spellbound) with skipper Igor and host Dora was amazing! Igor took us to some amazing swim and park up spots that we wouldn't have otherwise known about and there was a good mix of marinas (with towns to explore) and buoys. Dora prepared and served some amazing meals, helped us keep the boat clean and organise ourselves with yacht life for the week. The boat itself was great, the beds were comfortable, the showers fully functioning, it had air conditioning and the kitchen was well stocked so we could cook some dinners onboard. There were lots of spaces to hang out in and it was big enough that with 11 people onboard you never felt on top of each other. Would definitely recommend using Sail Croatia for anyone considering a week of bliss in the Adriatic.

We really enjoyed cycling the Croatian Islands and our knowledgeable guides shared many interesting details about the history and culture of Croatia. We did two trips, Split Northern return and the Split South to Dubrovnik. Both were fantastic trips and different in their own way. Tonka and Lola guided our first journey and did a great job of supporting us on our old school pedal bikes. Marin and Karlo were our second set of guides and once again provided excellent support for what was our first e-bike experience. The Sail Croatia ships (Mali Ante and Columbo) were both comfortable and are staffed by an amazing crew. The captain and crew's hard work and dedication is reflected in the pristine condition of the ships. The food for both cruises was delicious and plentiful. We did a Sail Croatia cycle tour in 2018 and enjoyed it so much we came back.! This second adventure exceeded our expectations and left us with some wonderful holiday memories.

My entire family loved cruising from one beautiful Croatian island to the next and touring around each stop on e-bikes. We got to see much more of each island than if we had hiked or just stayed overnight in each port town/city. The crew & guides are lovely people: professional, friendly & kind. Matilda & Sardan are also skilled bike riders who were patient & accommodated all the varied skill levels. They were knowledgable about each stop, offering wonderful suggestions for dining & site-seeing while on our own to explore. We met wonderful new friends and enjoyed traveling with every single person on our boat. This trip was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish - I can't recommend it enough! My family and I are still stunned at the many incredible views we biked to and the fun of having an active vacation and meeting great people while enjoying wonderful food and wine and exploring so much of beautiful Croatia. We are SO glad we went on this unforgettable adventure!

The small sized ships allowed access to smaller, quieter, and less busy ports allowing access to the real charm of Croatia. We loved the varied destinations, ports, and rides. No two days were the same. It also allowed us to really interact with the other guests and get to know them well. Our guide’s knowledge of the area and its history was excellent and very informative.

It was my first time visiting Croatia and first time on this type of cruise. Both were incredible - the small Explorer cruise was a great way to explore the islands of Croatia. The sea and landscape in Croatia are stunning. Our tour guide, Vicko, was knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciated how honest he was about which excursions would give us the best experience, he never pushed us to book something unless he really thought we would enjoy it. (And all of his recommendations were spot on.) We traveled as a family with a broad age range, and the Explorer cruise was fun for everyone. If you can, I'd recommend spending a few days before or after the cruise visiting the cities, since we spent almost all of the time on the islands.

More comfortable seating and a shaded area on the top deck More time in port - the water is cold in early May so swimming isn’t a good activity. If the ship can’t dock earlier, the option of getting a water taxi or tender to port should be an option. Excursions were over-priced

The cruise was incredible. I felt at home the second I got on the boat. The staff was so friendly and everyone on our boat was as well. The boat was incredibly clean and luxurious. I loved how we had time in the morning to relax and then the afternoon to do excursions and explore. It was the perfect balance. Our guide Vicko was amazing! He had so much information to share and was always honest with his recommendations about what he thought were the best things to do at each stop. We all got along so well and I feel we made lifelong friends! I would 100% do another Sail Croatia tour again!
