Many aspects: Being early in season we had it all to ourselves. Our small group of 14 made it very fun and social. The boat was clean and well maintained and the crew knew their business. Breakfasts and lunches were good in fact overtop. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Our hiking guides were gracious and knowledgeable. Everything was smooth and organized. My only issue was WiFi/internet access wa spotty at best.

The crew our tour representative Vicko the personal touch. We only had 16 guests on our boat. The food was 👏 amazing. I loved all the islands and villages we visited. Vicko recommended certain trips and each one was a great experience. Vicko energy and knowledge and enthusiasm was brilliant. I have been recommending sail Croatia to all my friends and family. It was a truly memorable 40th anniversary trip. We will most definitely sail with sail Croatia again. Do more islands. Wish I was back on board now. We also made new friends who since we left have been messaging which is lovely. This is because it was a small intimate group and vicko encouraged mixing together at breakfast and lunch. I loved when we all hired bikes and cycled together around the national park. Well done to our captain the crew and our amazing tour guide Vicko. I hope to meet you all again. My husband and I did the Bike and Boat Southern Route May 1-11, 2025. I can't say enough good things about this trip, from the crew; the outstanding organization of the biking from storing the bikes, fitting the bikes, loading and unloading the bikes (wait until you see how they do it!); and most of all, the rides (even coming down from one summit in the pouring rain). Our guides, Miranda and Lucija, were outstanding. Personable, patient, knowledgeable, strong riders. Great food as well. Cabins were simple but quite serviceable. And Croatia! What a gorgeous, fascinating country. Take any bike and boat tour with Sail Croatia and you won't be disappointed.

I was initially undecided about doing a group sailing trip, but am very glad I did. Klara and the Almissa team did a fantastic job making sure we were looked after, fed, and entertained. The Stari Grad wine tasting and morning swim stops were the highlights. Klara went out of her way to ensure we knew exactly what was happening when, and you never felt it was a nuisance asking for help. There was a good mix of ages and mostly Australians, Kiwis & Americans in the group. Would recommend.

Thankyou for making my first cruise and first cycle tour such a wonderful memorable experience! Onboard service was fantastic-crew are friendly and helpful. Special mention to chef who cooked up the most delicious (albeit oversized portions) every day. Cycle guides were fantastic - making sure everyone had a safe, enjoyable ride each day. Each ride was perfectly paced with adequate rest stops along the way. My only criticism (and it's an admin one which is why the overall trip still gets 5 stars) is the info provided with regards to tipping. In the pre-departure info tipping is suggested at $40-$105. I expected this was for the crew and guides combined. However when we received the 2 envelopes, the attached note stated that expected tip per guest is $105 for the crew only. A separate envelope was provided for the guides tips! I was not the only guest surprised by this as others expressed the same and the impact this had on travel budgets. This should have been clearly communicated.

It was great to be part of a small group of travellers who all had similar interests and spoke English as our first language. I like how breakfast and lunch were provided. The food was well prepared and fresh. It was also nice to have the bar option. The room was a good size and the daily room cleaning service was appreciated. It would have been nice to have a laundry service. Another trip we recently took offered one small load of laundry for the week. I also appreciated the swimming stops. I noticed the other boats around us had snorkels and fins and SUP boards. That would have been great too. Inflatable SUP boards don’t take up any room. Overall a great experience.

Our two bike guides were the best! Each day the trips were challenging but fun! Having an e bike made the uphill climbs manageable. Touring a different island each day and having the crew get the bikes off and back on the boat made it convenient. The food was good and the crew were great. I’d take another Sail Croatia trip again.

We had a wonderful time on the Split to Dubrovnik Sail Croatia bike tour.! Sanja and H took us on daily delightful bike rides explaining the history and uniqueness of each island we visited. The crew kept the ship spotless and were attentive to our every need. Our meals were delicious and went far beyond the usual fare. We really enjoyed getting to know our crew and fellow participants!

First was the team supporting us. Sonja and Hrvoje did a great job leading (and following) the bike ride. They provided a nice route and lots of information about each island. Plus good suggestions for where to get dinner and explore. Andrea made each meal a real pleasure. His attention to our needs was top notch. He and our cook provide food that tastes great, was got and freshly served. Our crew was friendly, curtious and always helpful. They worked so hard and made our ship clean and beautiful. Finally, the captain shows us amazing skill as he parked the so or took of for our next destination. A true master! Sail Croatia is a fantastic your organization and everything from our state rooms to our food to our last day party provided memories to be charged. I highly recommend you sail with them on your next Adriatic vacation.

The crew, guides & boat were fabulous. The pictureques coastline & islands we visitied were asolutely amazing. A fun & engaging time was had with fellow travellers who were from Australia, Canada & USA. The onboard catering was excellent although not sure we needed dessert after every meal. A bowl of fresh fruit would have sufficed. As an Aussie coffee lover, the machine coffee & its cost made be worth some tweaking. A barista style coffee machine would be the only improvement I could recommend on our cruise.

A fantastic holiday around the beautiful Croatian islands with Sail Croatia. The e-bikes made the island tours relaxing and the routes were well thought out with plenty to see along the way, with our excellent guides explaining everything before, during and afterwards. Back onboard, we were well looked after by the crew and staff, who could not do enough to make the holiday extremely enjoyable.

We had a lovely friendly welcome aboard the ship Afrodita from Sanja and Hrvoje who were super guides throughout our visit. Both guides were very knowledgeable and had plenty stories to tell on our journey. Andre, our on board host, what can I say...he was superb. Andre was attentive and always ready to serve and help, nothing ever appeared to be too much trouble. He interacted with the guests in a friendly yet professional manner. He quickly learned all the guests names and greeted and acknowledged us each time we met which made us feel more like friends than guests. Our chef always made delicious food and was very creative when it came to my vegetarian dishes. The other crew members, Christiana, Ivan, and Randy worked industriously and tirelessly to ensure our comfort and safety. My husband and I had a wonderful balance of activity and relaxation in beautiful surroundings. I would definitely recommend this trip to friends and family (and strangers if they will listen)

Our guide Ivica and Martin were exceptional! Ivica went out of his way to ensure everyone on board had a great experience at all times. He set up an extra bus tour in Dubrovnik and also got up early in the morning to accompany two passengers to the ferry and to ensure they got to were they needed to go! Martin, for his first trip was also great. He told several stories and shared many facts about the history of Croatia. Both men made the trip fantastic. The entire crew aboard the Mali Ante made each and every one of feel at home. The food was great and the two chefs were amazing!

From the first greeting at the dock in Split to making sure we had transport to our next destination in Dubrovnik, Anita made us feel like family. Each day’s activities were communicated through regular briefings and schedule updates on WhatsApp. Our hiking guide, Mate, explained the details of each walk and made sure we all felt confident with the pace and difficulty each time he led us to the magical views he shared with us. The crew were fantastic. The Captain changed some days around to avoid bad weather and rough seas. The food was great and the ship was always clean and tidy. We had a great time and the Sail Croatia guides and the Salve Di Mare crew made sure we were comfortable, active and well informed. We learnt so much about Croatia. Obviously a place loved by our guides and the crew. Thank you for sharing your country and your knowledge with us!!

Our guide Tonka was fantastic. The boat was clean and the crew was friendly and extremely competent. The group size was too large for me (30) and we ended up having to stop for long periods while we waited for non-e-bike riders to catch up. I found this frustrating and believe the two bike types need to be separated in mountainous terrain. We had a sun deck on our boat but there were no chairs or any way to sit on it. It only had permanent sunbathing pads fixed to the deck. That was a disappointment as there was not seating anywhere outside for the entire group. The boat maintenance needed a bit of improvement as multiple lights in our cabin did not work and the air conditioner never cooled the room. Croatia was gorgeous and the ride routes were fantastic. Food was good and the bikes were very comfortable and well maintained. I would not use Sail Croatia again unless they separate the bike types and have smaller group offerings or split the group with two lead guides.

This was just a great trip -- it truly exceeded our expectations. My wife, a relatively unsure bicycle newbie with no prior e-bike experience learned so much and can't wait to do more tours. Being a more experienced adventure biker, I also thoroughly enjoyed the trek on a classic bike. The excellent guides and breadth of cycling experience within the friendly group easily accommodated our disparate skill levels, so we both had excellent, positive experiences. The boat was beautiful, the crew, including the bartenders, chefs, sailors, and captain, were always extremely helpful. Our guides, Ivan and Mario, were exceptional and really made our trip, both biking and boating, smooth and effortless. They fostered a warm camaraderie among the group that really made the trip a joy for everyone. In sum, we'd recommend this bike/boat cruise to anyone who knows how to ride a bike and wants to tangibly experience an amazingly beautiful part of the world.

Had the best time ever. I was a little nervous travelling on my own and about motion sickness but had the best time ever and have made friends for life. Our guides Anita and Mate were incredible. They made the whole experience memorable. I did the Hike and Cruise trip and it had the right amount of activity and relaxation. Anita and Mate briefed us on the hike each morning and safely took us and brought us back. They made great recommendations for other activities to do once we got back as well as dinner recommendations. We sailed on the Salve De Mare. The Captain and his crew were great. The cabins were very comfortable, and the lunches were incredible. Captain's dinner was also very good. If i had to say something negative cause everything can't be perfect, it would be, need better coffee on the boat! I would recommend this trip to anyone. The age range of our group was 52 to 72 and the hike was manageable by all.

My ship was beautiful and the captain was clearly proud to have built it with his family. The accommodations were clean and spacious. Food was phenomenal. The guide was knowledgeable and honest - not just pushing sales or pressuring guests to use certain businesses. Croatia itself was welcoming and gorgeous. An island bike ride was a high point as was a local farm to table dinner.

Overall, a very good experience. We both enjoyed our week on the Olimp, it is a beautiful ship. Our rep was amazing, he worked hard to ensure we had a good week. The food , especially lunch, was beyond exceptional. Breakfast wasn't bad but I expected some good fresh fruit options instead of canned peaches and unripe pineapple every morning. Included in the cruise price we had two really excellent wine tastings and two that were average. Having said that, we would still recommend cruising with Sail Croatia. The team really went above and beyond

The Romantic Star was a wonderful ship. Captain Ivan and his crew were professional, enjoyed a laugh and tried their best to give us the most amazing time. Only a few little things that could be improved - some swimming equipment such as googles and flippers might assist, the host was amazing! Ioana did more than enough to keep us updated, managed to get the passengers together, United and having fun! Lastly, the highlight of cruising was the food, the chefs onboard were amazingly good! Great times

We had a great experience with Sail Croatia on the Explorer Cruise on the Tempera. The crew was amazing and went above and beyond!! Dino was very organized, and his communication and suggestions for local restaurants and highlights were very helpful. Max and Milan were so personable and were always willing to help. Frankie, the captain, was great as well as the cook and kitchen support, who were also great about offering gluten-free options. And the crew, Peter and Thomas, were wonderful as well! Overall, a great experience and memories were made that will last a lifetime :) We would highly recommend this experience.

The entire cycle tour from Split to Dubrovnik was fantastic. We went to 7 islands. The organization, accommodations, e-bikes and the guides and crew were amazing and competent. The entire week was great. Our cycle guide Ivica was awesome and so organized and friendly. The staff went over and above to make the week great. I would happily go again!

Second time on a Sail Croatia trip and it did not disappoint. The boat was comfortable and the food was very good. Crew helpful and very friendly. The guides, Lola and Ilona, were knowledgeable, friendly and really looked after us well. Hikes were very good, places we visited beautiful and stunning views. Great company on the boat, lots of laughter. A really good week.

I do recommend having the option of pancakes, crepes and waffles for breakfast at least once a week. Crew did an excellent job of accommodating my food allergy. I definitely recommend this tour.

From the moment I met Karolina and a few other passengers quayside at Split I felt welcome and comfortable. (I am 73 and travel solo). Over lunch we were given a full orientation about the ship and the week ahead: scheduled swim stops, shore excursions, meal times etc. My fellow passengers were a great mix of personalities, from reserved to more lively and we all got on so well (lucky/blessed). The Captain and crew, from front of house and in the background were efficient and fun. Special mention goes to our Cruise Director Karolina whose care and attention to detail were exceptional! We had the opportunity to swim every day which I did despite the water temperature, hence my given cruise name!! I can’t recommend this company/trip highly enough! Croatia is the most beautiful country; the people who live there are lovely (nearly everyone understands English), its history, food and wine absolutely great.

The classic, but beautifully detailed ship Emanuel was immaculate, showing pride of ownership. Early May weather was ideal while island visits were adjusted according to sea and port conditions. Overall, the best voyage we’ve ever done.

I went with a couple friends (all in our 20s) and had an amazing experience. The bike rides made seeing Croatia so much better than I imagined, the views got better each day and our guides Miranda and Josip were so friendly and helpful. The boat and crew were great and we met so many fun people on board. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Croatia!

Sail Croatia Elegance Cruise on Olimp - wow! We had high expectations but even they were exceeded! The ship was immaculate, cleaned and polished daily. All the areas were as shown and even better in person. We enjoyed the various spaces on the ship at different times. Our Tour Guide V (Vedran) was so helpful, joyful and always smiling - he made the cruise so much fun and we had lots of laughs together! Captain George (Jure) and all the crew were so sweet, kind and caring - doing a fabulous job of looking after us all. The buffet breakfast had everything you could possibly want on offer. The daily three course lunch (and four course Captain’s Dinner!) were all beautiful in presentation, variety and taste. All ports visited were great. We were lucky to be blessed with perfect weather and also a wonderful group of passengers. We could not want for anything more, thank you!
