Our unforgettable holiday on the Salve Di Mare has come to an end, we’ve met some wonderful people and discovered beautiful, captivating places, lots of swim stops with an opportunity to leap into the sea. We’ve been spoilt with exceptional service fantastic food and not having to plan the next days adventure. Our tour rep Vic was on hand every morning to give us the low down of what to expect for the day ahead with informative and useful tips for making the most out of each stop. Sailing on Salve Di Mare with Sail Croatia was truly one of the best vacations I have ever had. The scenes were picturesque, our tour manager was so knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone on board really made it a special experience where I feel like we are all bonded forever. The food on board was delicious and they always accommodated to any dietary restrictions. My experience with Sail Croatia was nothing short of incredible. The ship was beautiful. The meals were delicious. The crew was friendly and our host Vicko was very accommodating. The bar/dining room staff were standouts as my group spent a lot of time there. Our room cleaner was also a standout. Between the daily swim stops and staying in a new place every night, this is an excellent way to visit Croatia.

We had such an amazing holiday . It was a real adventure, yoga , swim stops every day, biking in the most beautiful surroundings and hiking. Lots of other available activities too if you wanted. We visited some gorgeous places, it was so much fun! The crew were very friendly and helpful and Dora was the best you could ask for on a trip like that , she organised so much and really made the trip special. Her sunrise yoga was a perfect way to start the day . I would highly recommend. Also the food is delicious! 😊 ❤️

Our time aboard Salve Di Mare far exceeded all we hoped for. Meeting lovely folk & enjoying their company whilst sailing the Croatian Islands. Every day a new destination with recommendations for activities & places to eat. Swim stops every day were great fun & being able to use the kayaks & SUPs a bonus! Our rep Vicko was the best! Professional, friendly, humorous, knowledgeable & attentive to all questions. All the staff/crew were excellent. They all worked tirelessly with a smile for everyone! Not enough stars for the crew on the Almissa yoga cruise. The welcoming from the first day til the sad last day! Dora- our breath of fresh air. Goes above and beyond. Whatever you needed she was there. Chefs- I have never ate so well on a holiday. Still want the recipes! Deckhands- so funny and handle the boat and tinder expertly. Cezar and Kafka - Bartenders/Maid /servers- we kept you guys very busy and you were top notch! Captain Josef- great honor to sail with him. He is a master of his craft. Would highly recommend sailing with this crew and boat! Going to miss all the fun with yoga, swimming holes, hikes and wine tasting/dinner. Thank you for a truly wonderful and unforgettable holiday!

We had a great time on our yoga cruise. The entire crew on the Almissa were hard working & fantastic. We found Croatians in general so friendly & accommodating. We felt safe @ all our travel stops. Our activities director - Dora had our days well planned with a fantastic balance of activities & beautiful swim spots. To see Croatia on a boat is a dream! We met the nicest & fun people on our cruise- a real mix of ages & from all over the world. The food was good. There was always a great selection @ buffet breakfast - something for everyone. Great experience! Ship was nice and recently remodeled. Being on the ship felt like being at home with the hospitable crew (tour guide Marin, waitors Ivana & Neno, cleaner Joy, sailors Charlie and Tino, Kristijana boat manager, Captain Slavko& chefs Bane and Marko) The size of the group was perfect and felt intimate. Swimming off the dock into the ocean was a highlight. The meals were luxurious. Tour guide had a wealth of knowledge.

Overall wonderful way to see Coastal Croatia and would definitely recommend. Mario was our tour guide and he was amazing, really helpful and kind. The crew were great. The boat itself was outdated but nothing that affected our holiday. Food was good overall. Great itinerary and overall we had a lot of fun. Couple days towards the end felt a little rushed. Even earlier breakfast and very short swim stop to get to islands which there was nothing to do on. Would have appreciated better and longer swim stops on those. Customer service was great helping answer questions and booking. Overall definitely recommend the cruise.

My husband and I, and some friends cruised Split to Dubrovnik on Salve di Mare in Sep '26. We enjoyed it very much. The ship was beautiful. Our room was very comfortable. Our package included breakfast and lunch. The food was faultless! Both meals were excellent Breakfast consisted of hot and cold choices and was tasty,fresh and plentiful. Our three course lunch was impressive to say the least - restaurant worthy, tasty, fresh and varied. Hats off to the chef - he did an amazing job! Equally impressive was the bar staff - Marco and Vlaho! They knew every single name in the first hour ! And, they knew all of our preferred drinks by dinner! No request was too hard, or a bother for them. They were warm, welcoming and always smiling. Cheers to both of them Our cruise director Vicko was knowledgable and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering this cruise.

This cruise was the perfect balance of adventure, culture, relaxation, and time together. What I loved most was that the itinerary never felt forced. There were excursion options for everyone, while still giving us the freedom to explore, relax, or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The food was wonderful—from continental-style breakfasts to three-course lunches we looked forward to each day. The entire crew was friendly, welcoming, and supportive. A special mention to our cruise director, whose passion for his job and his country was contagious. Croatia itself is absolutely stunning but what really made the trip was the crew. We got to know everyone throughout the week & they genuinely made the whole experience the best it could have been. Marin was the best. Always so happy, helpful & willing to go above & beyond for everyone. I especially loved his “me time”. Kristijana was amazing. Everything seemed to run so smoothly & you could tell how much work she was doing behind the scenes. Neno & Jovana were so canny. Beautiful trip thru the islands of Croatia starting in Dubrovnik and ending in Split. Our cruise director, Anita was so kind and amazing! She always answered questions, explained the local culture, and set up side trips for us. The boat was comfortable with daily cleaning and I was thankful for the A/C! The swim stops were so incredibly beautiful that I have renamed my home WiFi to “swimstop” to honor them. Blue and clear every day! I don’t think I have enough kind words in my vocabulary to express the gratitude, appreciation, and the feeling overwhelming fulfillment after getting off your ship. First, Anita needs a promotion asap. Her love for her country, and her love for her job is so heartwarming, I can honestly say I have never met a more beautiful soul. Anita is AMAZING! Second, the crew was phenomenal. By the end of the week they felt like family. Lucy and Pamela were outstanding, as were the rest of the crew. I can’t say enough good things about our trip, from the Captain to the Crew and most importantly, the Cruise Director, Anita. We had the most amazing experience and felt very well taken care of. The ship was always spotless and watching the Captain cruise into port and dock the yacht was a sight to see. The Crew worked so hard in assisting, making every detail seem effortless. The Chef always had a delicious 3-course lunch that was always a delight and left us satisfied all day. Anita was incredible and well organized. All adventures were well organized and detailed and made each day even more enjoyable. Anything we needed, we could count on Anita to direct us and make our experience even better than expected. This was a first for us and friends with Sail Croatia. Traveling on a smaller ship was amazing and the Kraljica Jelena was wonderful, made possible by the Captain and crew who diligently took care of the ship daily - cleanliness was on point. Also what made this adventure so amazing was the coordination of events, communication, and awesome attitude and humor of our crew coordinator, Anita Condic. She is an excellent representative of Sail Croatia and made everyone feel at home away from home. We loved our excursions and swim stops and enjoyed her sharing Croatia with us! We had an excellent time aboard the Contessa on our 7 day trip from Split to Dubrovnik. We were impressed by the spaciousness of the cabins, the high level of finishes of the boat, the excellent meals, the cordial staff, and to make things better, all the other passengers were delightful as well. Travelled on Queen Jelena from Dubrovnik to Split. The Captain and his crew were wonderful! So professional and courteous. Service was impeccable, breakfasts and lunches were top notch. Chef and sous chef did a great job getting hot food out to all on board at the same time and the stewardesses never missed. Cabin attendant kept our towels fresh daily , sailors were terrific! Great experience and Holiday! Tour manager was very knowledgeable and provided good information about each stop.

I can’t speak highly enough about this experience I had on Almissa with sail Croatia. It was so enjoyable and comfortable that the boat genuinely started to feel like home. From the people we met, to the destinations we sailed to, and the experiences we got to have, it made leaving on our last day very difficult. The entire staff on the boat, especially, were so dedicated to making our time the best it possibly could be that everything blew me away. 10000/10 staff. I don’t think I could recommend visiting this beautiful country any other way than by sail. I will be back on the almissa in the future.

We had a great time on the sailing trip, and the staff really made the experience special. Everyone was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure guests had a good time. Their professionalism and positive attitude were definitely the highlight of the trip. That said, the cleanliness of the boat could use some improvement. While it didn’t ruin our experience, some areas felt like they could have benefited from a more thorough cleaning and a little more attention to upkeep. I knew this trip would be once-in-a-lifetime, but the Contessa crew exceeded every expectation! My family had so much to celebrate—my parents renewed their vows, I got engaged, and I celebrated 20 years cancer-free. As someone who normally travels with a detailed itinerary and spreadsheet, this was the first time I truly let go and went pomalo—and I’m so glad I did. In just 7 days, strangers from Canada, Australia, Norway, and the USA became friends. That says everything about the incredible atmosphere this crew created. I cannot speak more highly of Sail Croatia and the service they provided. We sailed the Contessa on the Explorer and it truly felt like you were on a yacht. Our tour guide, Marin, was absolutely the best. Not only did he always have good and honest recommendations, he made sure to accommodate your every need and request. Day of reservations? No problem, Marin took care of it. The food served was excellent, I left lunch everyday not able to finish all that they served. Our bartenders were also top tier. They truly mixed better cocktails than what we would have on land, shout out to Neno! A truly professional crew from the sailors to the housekeeper. I did not want to leave at the end of the week and wish i could have sailed with the crew for another week! Thank you Marin and all of the crew who curated the perfect experience!

I began this trip thinking it would be a ONCE-in-a-lifetime trip. It was so fabulous I would do it every year if budget allowed! The yacht was spacious and well-appointed. Our guide, Hana, was OUTSTANDING. Cannnot say enough good things about her concierge-type service, her kindness, and her stellar approach to guiding 31 guests through mulitple excursions, all with a smile. The chefs consistently put out 5 star meals, and our servers were attentive to every need. And the Croatian coast/islands are a beautiful ocean gem - other island vacation destinations pale in comparison. All put together, the result was memories that will last a lifetime.

Amazing voyage on the Salve di Mare. Hana (tour coordinator) and the crew of the Salve di Mare earned a 11 out of 10 for our group of eight trek through the islands down the Dalmatia coast. This ship is pristine. Bedrooms spacious. Super comfortable beds. The ports along the way, and unique swimming stops, take all the thinking out of this kind of week long trip. The extensive buffet breakfasts and multi course lunches will keep foodies very, very happy. The vessel was spotless the entire trip and more than exceeded our group's expectations. My friends and I had the most incredible week on Sail Croatia’s Almissa. The crew were incredibly passionate about Croatia and all had deep local connection, which seemed to be a huge point of difference from competing operators. The Tour Manager Sanja was an absolute professional. She was beaming with energy and positivity all week - articulate, approachable and genuinely cared. Nothing was too much trouble. Sanja is truly a genuine asset to your business. The itinerary on our Explorer trip blended the perfect combination of relaxation and swim stops with exploring the very best the Croatian coastline had to offer. The meals provided were all of a high quality - we were genuinely surprised with how tasty the meals were. What instantly struck us is how the crew treated us all like family and were incredibly helpful and warm. This fostered a really friendly, social atmosphere across the vessel. My only suggestions for improvement are the quality of the linen & towels-it felt very cheap.

Enjoyed every moment of our sail croatia cruise. From the moment we got on the boat we were greeted warmly and treated like royalty. Our cruise director Hana from Salve de mare went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our trip was enjoyable. The staff were very attentive and friendly to all our needs. Fabulous holiday that provided you lots of adventure without you having to plan anything. Amazing crew and top notch food daily. By the end of the week you’ll have met many new acquaintances. It was over and above all our expectations . . . a truly unique experience where we met a lot of lovely people from all over the world. The staff were amazing too. Vicko was so informative delivering just the right amount of information about all our stops and with great humour. The staff anticipated what we needed at any particular time. Food provided was of an exemplary standard. Swim stops and excursion destinations were all fabulous even though we had been in Croatia several times before the country and its islands keep on giving us new delights. Our holiday was truly amazing. We decided to travel on the Salve di Mare boat. It was absolutely beautiful. The boat and cabins were extremely clean and well kept. The crew was amazing. Our captain and crew were top notch! They were extremely helpful and made sure all of our needs were met at all times. We were treated extremely well. Our week aboard Salve Di Mare with Sail Croatia was truly one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. We boarded a little nervous about spending a week on a boat with 27 strangers and left feeling like we were saying goodbye to family. The ship was beautiful, the swim stops incredible, the food fantastic, but it was the people who made this trip unforgettable. A huge thank you to the amazing crew: Hana, our boat mom, for taking such great care of us; Frane for getting us safely to the most incredible swim stops; Fadil and Richie for keeping everything running; Marko and Vlaho for keeping us very well “hydrated”; Julija for keeping our cabins spotless and always greeting us with kindness; and Bojan and Elena for keeping us fed and happy with delicious meals. The laughs, adventures, friendships, hugs and very real tears on the final morning say everything. We’ve travelled all over the world, and this trip was something truly special. We honestly don’t know how we’ll ever top it. Thanks!

We thought everything was pretty much spot on. The Ship and staff were excellent. Our only negative was the timing of breakfast and lunch, along with the swim stops. We understand you have to adapt the schedule each day to cooincide with when you have to be at the next Port. But for the most part in chatting with our shipmates, we felt like....hurry and get up for breakfast, hurry and eat, go for a swim....but we just ate....hurry for lunch....then we typically need time to digest. We have 3 or 4 hours between breakfast and lunch......then 6 to 8 hours between lunch and dinner. It just felt like the meals on board could be stretched out longer and not rushed. The Bar, when ordering a drink, please serve the alcohol that is listed on the menu. Those are our only negatives, otherwise we totally loved the small ship cruising experience. Special thank yous to Yolana in the Salon, and Joy the housekeeper. We found out late that she is a massage therapist..too bad that service was N/A

Unique experience was heightened by the crew: their smiles, going above & beyond without request, delicious food (accommodating allergies & preferences too). Favorite memories: Sailor Tino serving as cocktail server delivering to our "floating bar" we created utilizing the paddle boards during swim stops. Bartender Naeno remembering my drinks from day 1 - am manually making my fresh iced tea from brewed & pm chardonnay w/3 ice cubes. Great conversation & genuinely cared to get to know people. Bartender Joanna sweet & accommodating even when I was being "extra". Attendant Joy for keeping our cabin clean-constantly replacing bathmat & folding clothes, etc. Our space cozy and spotless too. Director Vin was funny even when he wasn't trying to be. Tip to future guests: Do not start a drinking game where you drink anytime he says the word "ALSO". If ya know, ya know. Don't forget Sailor Charlie - ALWAYS cleaning the yacht. Have a chat with him about where he's lived too.

I had a wonderful time on this trip! The crew was great and the food was delicious. Every spot we went to was beautiful. It would have been nice to explore the towns in the morning and then do a swim stop after lunch when it was extremely hot. I also wish there was more excursions like jet skis or fishing. We enjoyed our trip tremendously. We have never been on a cruise. This is the best way to give a cruise a try. It’s a smaller cruise boat with only a handful of people and crew. Great bar with attentive staff. No disco and thousands of people swarmed by a pool. The food was very good. It was the perfect balance of action, adventure, sightseeing and relaxation. The private swim coves were one of our favorite parts of the day. Our coordinator Klara was amazing. I know it’s her job to be friendly but I truly felt like she really enjoyed our group and wanted to hang out with us. I definitely recommend Sail Croatia. We may even try their Greek Island tour…only if Klara is the coordinator.

We were blown away by the end to end experience w/ Sail Croatia— thoughtful stops, daily swimming, excursions + dining reservations made in advance on your behalf. We are busy working parents juggling robust school + sports schedules. Once we got onboard we left all the logistics, planning, navigating to Sail Croatia and were able to miss many of the crowds commonly found across Croatia in August. Our tour manager Hana is an ace at her job and brought in enough history / cultural overview to keep the teenagers interested. Food was beyond expectation and accommodating of allergies + preferences. Cabins were clean and well appointed. We will be re booking this holiday! 5 stars.

We we're on the Queen Jelena with about 30 individuals including our family of four. Our family included a 17 year old, college student, and my wife and I. This holiday was amazing. I went with my friend and we had the best of times and I’m sure if I went solo I would have had an equal amount of fun!! Whilst we were the youngest on the cruise, it didn’t matter, everyone on board had a great energy and our rep Viko brought everyone together. He was amazing. The excursions were also amazing with Viko letting us know honest opinions of them whilst using banter along the way. The Canyoning in Makarska was definitely a highlight. Just be prepared to pay a lot more than what the ship cost. The wifi was pretty slow and crap but we spent lots of time together and at the swim spots it didn’t really matter in the day and there was a decent amount of service from the ports at night.

We were on board Almissa and apart from the amazing itinerary and coastline we travelled I found Hana from Sail Croatia friendly, informative and extremely helpful. She was a bubble of joy. My friend and I (50s) had a wonderful time on a 7 day cruise on the Almissa (Explorer Cruise). Our Sail Croatia tour leader Hana was a major part of making the entire experience so great. She took care of all logistics and communicated very well. The rest of the crew was amazing as well. The food was delicious and the bartenders were so cool. Everyone was friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The best part was probably the extended daily swim stops. If you are thinking of seeing Croatia by sea - Sail Croatia is the way to go. Remember the navigator is for younger party crowd, explorer is for people seeking activities and excursions and elegance is for the less active travelers. Highly recommend and try to find what ship Hana is leading.

Sailed on the Contessa. The cabin was wonderful with lots of storage. Suggest having a top sheet on beds and a shower mat as floor is slippery. Loved all of the ports and time to swim in the Adriatic! Wonderful crew. Requested an itemized bill at the end but said they don't have a printer. The food was amazing! Fresh fruit everyday, pastries, eggs etc. Lunch was bountiful! The presentation of meals was 5 star! Loved the view from the top deck and all around the ship. A small thing, but maybe a sign upon arrival posting Welcome to ...(port). The crew works very hard and the ship is immaculate. I'd highly recommend. A fantastic experience. 10/10 for Sail Croatia. This trip exceeded my families expectations. The tour manager (Hana) and crew were excellent - informative, fun and lots of attention to detail. One of, if not the best vacation I have had. Very service minded crew. The boat was great. Best part for me was the sosial aspect. Got to know the other guests and crew. We had an amazing experience. The crew and Josko were great. The rooms were great spacious and clean. The boat was very clean and staff was attentive. Couple suggestions would be if there was a. Way to keep the breakfast hot as it was cold by the time we ate. Be nice to have. Coffee through out the day and it be available earlier. The plants on the tables were nice but to big. When paying our bar bill it was difficult as we never saw or get emailed a receipt to show the breakdown. That might be something we should get before leaving a printed one. The bar attendants were so fun. The lunches were amazing. Only meal was the veal that was not good. Swim stops were beautiful. And staff was great setting everything up for us.to enjoy the swim spots. Josko was great helping us find the best places to eat and answered other questions we had. If it was a full boat I don’t think the hot tub would have worked for 36 passengers. We were lucky to only have 16 on board. Thank you to all

We travelled on the Almissa with a total group of 22 people to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. This was one of THE BEST TRIPS I have ever taken! We could not have been happier with the service, cleanliness of the ship, fun excursions, excellent food and drinks and exceptional crew! Captain Josip was the best! He sailed the Almissa perfectly, changing the order of our itinerary to best suit weather and wind conditions, giving us a perfect week of sun and beautiful weather. Our sailors Ivan and Capo took beautiful care of the ship, working tirelessly behind the scenes. Chefs Marko and Bogden prepared delicious meals with very large potions and beautiful presentation. Bartenders Kafka and Cezar prepared wonderful drinks while interacting with all of us in a fun atmosphere. We loved Hana our cruise director, she was THE BEST! She lovingly took care of all of our needs, provided us with history, information on restaurants and places to see, and even made a reservation for 22 of us!

We sailed on the Almissa for my sister in laws 60th birthday. We had the most amazing trip! Captain Joseph was the most amazing captain! He was so friendly and genuinely loved sailing his ship. He found the most outstanding swim spots. He truly enjoyed talking to all his passengers. Our bartenders Cezar and Kufca were so fun and so personable!! They knew all our names by the end of the first day! The food was really very good. We had breakfast and lunch everyday on the boat! The sailors were outstanding as well! The star of the show was Hana! We all absolutely fell in love with our ships director(not sure the actual term). But Hana was soooo lovely! We were informed every day with the schedule of events. She sent us restaurant recommendations and made us reservations if we needed. Everyday she gave us a presentation of what we would see on our next stop. She planned a birthday dinner including cake. We loved our Sail Croatia holiday aboard Salve di Mar slowly island hopping between Dubrovnik and Split. Highlights weee the enthusiastic and capable Sail Croatia host and vessel crew, the stunning islands with their historic villages and diverse cuisine, our magnificent vessel and socialising with our friends and guests. It was our first cruise but with such a small group, cruise doesn’t feel the right word. Whatever you call it… the experience s wonderful. Do go.

We had a great week aboard Princeza Diana. The crew were attentive and our host Ana very knowledgeable. Some great excursion options. A small group of 15 which actually made the week as we all got to know each other so well and all clicked. Highly recommend. I would say though when asked if you have dietary restrictions, if you don’t like fish or tomatoes worth saying as they are very much apart of the meals. Overall meals were good.

About 18 months ago, I saw Sail Croatia on Instagram and quickly showed it to my wife. With her blessing, I reached out and booked our trip. We quickly told friends about it and were a total of six when we boarded the Almissa. Simply stated, the trip was amazing. Our captain, our crew, and our bartenders (Cezar and Kafka) were the best. Always there for anything we needed, and always with a smile. Everything you see on the cruise is beautiful but the service on the Almissa took it over the top. Each day you leave a location, eat wonderful food on the boat, have a swim stop, and end up in a new location. The food was excellent. I am a picky eater and loved everything. The swim stops are so beautiful that we all agreed that pictures were not doing them justice. The size of the ship allows for smaller ports and takes you to places you likely would not see otherwise. I cannot recommend this cruise enough. It was a highlight of not just this trip, but all the trips we have taken.

If you are considering a Sail Croatia trip, take the plunge and go! We absolutely loved our experience from start to finish. (We departed Dubrovnik on July 4 and ended in Split - Explorer.) The itinerary was the perfect combination of beautiful destinations, swimming, adventure, culture, food, and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the incredible Adriatic coastline. What really made the trip special, though, was the experience of traveling with a small group and the dedicated crew. Of our 31 travelers, 11 were international (Scottish, British, Spanish, Australian, South African), with the rest from the US - and all were awesome humans! With Josip as our guide, and the Salve Di Mare crew caring for us all week, we enjoyed every minute with all our new friends. And the ship is perfection! The trip was well organized, while still feeling relaxed and adventurous. We came home with memories we'll never forget and friends we hope to see again. Five stars without hesitation!

Our week on the Almissa was amazing. Great food, staff, rooms, common spaces and other guests. The itinerary was excellent including a variety of activities and swim spots. A truly unique and special way to experience Croatia and we have no hesitation recommending the Almissa. The Sail Croatia communication was good in the lead up to the tour. A few things to note as feedback. Make the end of tour survey anonymous to get honest and useful feedback, carrying cash is a pain now for tourists - the fact everything on the boat and the extra tours and tips are to be paid in cash is inconvenient. Towels on the ship could be replaced - they are getting a bit old. Provide tea and coffee after lunch for free. This would be a small inexpensive thing to include - many international guests like their coffee and tea in the afternoon. 3 Euros for a cup of tea is way over the top. Finally the tipping recommendation appears out of step with what the cruise cost is. Small suggestions.

We had an amazing trip! The crew and coordinator (Boat Manager Christiana, coordinator Nikos, sailors Tino and Charlie, waiters Neno and Martin, and maid Joy) all did an amazing job. They all went the extra mile to make sure we were accommodated. The ship had just been renovated, and it was definitely and it was very nice. Rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. Other common areas of the ship (upper sun deck, saloon, etc.) were very nice. Would highly recommend Sail Croatia and the Contessa ship.

Our Sail Croatia cruise was one of the best trips of my life! My husband, our adult kids, and I all agreed it was an unforgettable experience. The ship was beautiful, our cabin was spacious, and it was meticulously cleaned every day. The food was outstanding, and the entire crew was friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help. A special thank you to our tour manager, Dino. He was incredibly knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations at every stop, helping us make the most of each destination. Although our itinerary changed slightly due to weather and docking conditions, it worked out perfectly. We visited Jelsa, which ended up being our favorite stop of the trip! The swim stops were absolutely spectacular, with crystal clear water and breathtaking scenery. If you're considering Sail Croatia, don't hesitate. It was an incredible experience, and we would do it again in a heartbeat!

The locations were stunning, the crew and fellow passengers were fun and engaging, and the food was imaginative and delicious (but not too crazy for our picky eaters). Positives- The food and dining service were excellent throughout the trip. The information shared about the islands, local attractions, and recommended activities was very helpful and enhanced our experience. Hanna was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and always willing to help with restaurant reservations and excursion bookings. Her assistance was greatly appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied with our cruise experience and had a wonderful time. Areas for Improvement- We noticed that some staff members were smoking in or near common guest areas. Relocating smoking to designated staff-only areas would help create a more comfortable environment for guests, especially those who are sensitive to cigarette smoke. One bartender, Cesar, came across as less welcoming than the rest of the crew during our interactions. A more friendly and approachable demeanor would further enhance the overall guest experience.

6 of us sailed on the Almissa the first week of July. Right from the start we were greeted with friendly staff members who met all of our needs and answered all of our questions. Hana was our guide/host for the week and she was amazing. She always checked in on passengers daily asking them what they had done the day before and what the plans were. She gave us a play by play of what to expect each day and answered questions and gave suggestions in a timely manner. She was outstanding. The boat was extremely clean and was big enough for all thirty plus passengers to find space if needed. The staff was friendly and assisted whenever needed. The food was also the best food I have had on the trip - even better than the restaurants. The pace of the trip was great. The only reason I did not give five stars, is that I wish drinks were included in the price or that a drink package could be bought. I would definitely suggest bringing snacks on board as they were not provided throughout.

We loved our time with Sail Croatia. When we booked our trip we weren’t sure what to expect. We had never taken a trip on a small boat cruise before and are not really fans of large cruise ships. But from the time we boarded till well after we got off, we completely enjoyed our experience. The crew were attentive and fun. The other passengers were a great mix of personalities. And our cruise director, Klara, kept us both informed and entertained, she even got us a reservation for 21 at Massimo Cocktail Bar on Korčula. I looked forward to the daily swim stops, always at a picture perfect beach, and each town we visited was unique and memorable. I cannot recommend Sail Croatia enough. We are already planning our next trip.

Sali Croatia on Almissa exceeded our expectations. All the crew were amazing. Caesar and Kafka kept us entertained in the bar. Captain was friendly. The chefs were outstanding.. What an amazing experience sailing around the beautiful islands of Croatia. Our trip started in Slpit & end ended in Dubrovnik. We stopped at 5 amazing islands along the way. The boat guide Andro was incredibly knowledgeable about each island’s history & what it had to offer and gave suggestions on activities and restaurants along the way. The crew were great however my only suggestion would be it lacked a female’s touch (all male crew) 😅. Eg room cleaning & also lack of salad at lunch time with massive serving of 3 course meal at lunch (the men very happy). I would highly recommend Sail Croatia it definitely exceeded our expectations.

You never know what to expect with 35 strangers but this mini 7 night cruise exceeded all expectations. We were warmly greeted and had ample time to mingle or do our our things. We were provided with numerous options for eating out and placed to visit at each stop. The on board food (breakfast and lunch) were plentiful and the swim stops along the way were so dreamy and refreshing during our hot week on board. The rooms were well spaced with ample storage for our 2 large and 2 small cases and the A/C kicked in well at night. Our main host Andro was exceptional and his command of the English language made everything seamless, closely followed by the diligent boat crew . We had so much fun, lots of drinks and laughs with guests and plenty of time to really unpack and unwind. I felt safe, my belongings were secure and we strongly recommend the Tempera to those looking for adventure, unique beauty but ample time to chill out.. There are a few deserving tips and taxes to factor in though.

Croatia is beautiful, I loved all the islands, Stari Grad and Mljet National Park were highlights. Tempera is due for a refurb next year, it's fine, but it does need some attention. The crew were great. As a pescatarian I was catered for, but hot breakfast items were all in the same serving dish - eggs tasted of sausages - I can cope with that, but many wouldn't. Overall, thoroughly enjoyable.

Sail Croatia was amazing. We were doing a bit of a Europe tour; Greece, Croatia and Italy. Croatia was the middle of our trip and the highlight. Doing Croatia through a sail tour meant we got to see so many places and didn't have to think about transport and accommodations at all. The crew was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. We had such a great time! Boat and the crew were perfect! We sailed on the Esperanza on an explorer tour., Clean rooms very spacious and comfortable. Our tour guide Lola was absolutely awesome! Very helpful, made local calls for us to sort out what ever was needed. From breakfast to daily swim stops and then the 3 course lunch made the trip. We traveled with our kids ages 21 and 18, they loved the trip. I really had no complaints, the whole week. The other guests aboard were truly amazing and kind people from Australia, UK and the states. Just a whole lotta fun relaxing with like minded folks.

We travelled on the Tempera Explorer from Dubrovnik to Split. Our guide Lauren was both professional, informative and fun from the 1st day to the last. The Sail Croatia trip was great. Beautiful swim stops, interesting fellow travelers, and no shortage of food or drinks. Good value for money, and leaves you wanting more time in Croatia. A few things I would change: The amount of time spent in port towns. We were really only in a port during the late afternoons and at night, and it would have been really nice to have more daytime to explore the islands and towns. There's a lot of food waste on the boat. Every lunch had three courses, and they were huge and quite heavy. One or two courses, or the ability to opt in or out of certain courses, would reduce food waste. Also, the house wine on the boat was from two huge plastic jugs on the floor behind the bar. It was super sweet and undrinkable. It would have been nice to have the option for a glass of decent house wine, instead of having to purchase whole bottles.

This was are second Sail Croatia cruise. The first was fantastic. Out second was on the Contessa, and it is a new boat. As with some new things, such as homes, boats, there is a pick up list of things that need improvement. In our case there were three issues. The AC was not working well and basically managed the room to 30 degrees Celsius, the boats internet was very limited, only working in the dining area, and that was food quality and taste was average. One of the driving forces besides the beauty of Croatia of our return was exceptional food quality, preparation and value in our first cruise. The chefs were amazing, tantalizing us with great appetizers, main courses and deserts. Although an effort was made it was not near the level of our first cruise. I imagine Sail Croatia will rectify these start up issues but want to present the facts as they were for us to future customers.

This was one of my best vacations and have been all different size boats. It was very relaxing atmosphere and excellent way to see Croatia. Wake up have breakfast, anchor in a bay and have a swim. While having lunch the ship travels to the next port for you to enjoy. The nice thing is you get to enjoy dinner in port and are not rushed backed to the boat as it’s there for the night. Our guide Sasa kept us informed on a daily basis on what was happening for the day and things to do and places to eat. Great job. The bar staff Marko and Vlaho were great bartenders and hard workers always ready to get you whatever drink you required great job guys. Our house keeper Julia did a great job cleaning up after all of us on the boat. Now I get down to the food cooked by our chef Bojan and sou chef Zodojka which was outstanding. The crew lead by Captain Frane and crewed by Bojan and Zodoyka did a great job getting us to were we needed to go and docking the ship even in tight situations. Great work

This was perhaps one of the very best holidays we have ever experienced. The Captain and crew were of the highest standard and became friends in our voyage together. Our fellow passengers also made this a very memorable trip. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Hope to come back some day!

The 7 day cruise spent on Salve di Mare was nothing but first class. We had great service, relaxed atmosphere and immersive destination access. Our cruise director Matilda provided excellent info about each destination & organised side tours at each destination. Marko and Vlaho ran a very professional bar and dining service from early in the morning till late at night. These two were very warm and welcoming and shared there knowledge and promoted fun and laughter amongst the guests. The maid Julija did a wonderful job keeping rooms clean as well as the ship. The kitchen staff Bojan & Fani prepared delicious meals. The crew led by Capt Frane with sailors Fadil and Richard were very professional and skilled especially when mooring the ship in tricky weather and space. The beauty of this ship was its ability to reach smaller locations that provided a more local vibe that large cruise ships cannot reach. The whole 7 days was very relaxed and felt uncrowded on board. I was somewhat disappointed and felt the overall experience to be a little lacking. While the air conditioning failed in some cabins and the crew did what they could to fix it was understandable, one guest complained and the Captain felt it necessary to berate all guests on board at dining. The excursions were less than what was advertised. The swim time was extremely long and cut into time that could have been spent on shore. We scheduled a pick up through our ship from our hotel to the ship for departure and then were not allowed on the ship for 2 hours in an area with no shelter, shopping or bathrooms. The coordinator of excursions missed the mark on helping acquire e-bikes along with knowledge of restaurants and distances to attractions. There were not enough deck chairs for the number of guests. The jacuzzi was filled only twice. Coffee was only available during breakfast hour or had to pay for it. Overall, the experience was not what we had hoped for or planned.

Spectacular week on board the Mali Ante Explorer cruise! Went on some excursions, skipped others, was never unhappy about where I ended up. Seemed impossible to make a bad choice between the pristine sea, the INCREDIBLE crew, and all the picturesque seafront towns my heart could desire! Not generally a big cruise person but this didn’t feel like that at all, aside from the convenience of not having to plan a single travel logistic ourselves. It all felt friendly and personal and like the perfect size group to make some friends, learn everyone’s name, but have plenty of opportunity for privacy too. Below deck room w/twins was perfect for two besties and actually much larger than I expected—just bring earplugs for the morning engine noise and you’ll do great. Again have to say a fabulous crew made it feel really special. Put it this way: if you like to like things you will find it easy to like this vacation! Highly recommend mid/late June for crisp water and perfect daytime temps.

Sail Croatia does an amazing job. We loved everything about our trip and would definitely sail with them again. Sail Croatia is an amazing value, they make everything easy, all you have to do is relax and enjoy yourself. The boat was wonderful and the cabins were larger and more comfortable than I expected. The food was excellent and much more than advertised. Breakfast was varied every morning with a nice variety. Lunch was an excellent 3-course meal each day and everything was delicious. The team on board does an excellent job of making you feel relaxed and comfortable and you can tell they truly take pride in their work. Each swim stop was well thought out as far as location and each time offered a unique and beautiful location to enjoy. The boat offered plenty of space to relax and it never felt crowded or cramped. All of this and getting to spend time in a beautiful country make this something I would gladly do again. Thank you Sail Croatia!

Sasa and all the crew were amazing. From the minute we got on the boat to the day we got off they all went out of their way to ensure we were very comfortable, relaxed, well informed and having a great time. I loved the swim stops and exploring the towns in the cooler evenings. Food was also great (thank you chef) and Marco and the lads were amazing. I would recommend Sail Croatia to anyone!!

Another AMAZING week cruising through the Dalmatian islands. My husband, Bill, and I found Sail Croatia back in 2017 and did our first week in 2018. As Bill says “it’s the easy button.” A handful of years later we wanted to go again, so we booked a week on the Salve di Mare. Wow! Another incredible week some little details had even improved from the first time. We became friends with several other guests from the far reaches of the world, stayed in touch, and my Aussie friend, Kirstyn, and I schemed a return. 7 of us from the 2023 trip returned this year (more had planned to, but life got in the way). Klara was our guide in ‘23, and there was some concern that this year’s Sail Croatia rep might not live up to her, but Saša was up to the challenge. He was friendly, approachable, funny, and informative. It really felt like he cared about each of us. The whole crew of Salve di Mare (Captain, sailors, chefs, waiters, housekeeper… ) were professional, kind, and hardworking. ❤️Sail Croatia!

Sail Croatia is a terrific option for anyone. It is a truly unique experience that allows you to see so much of the Dalmatian islands. A perfect balance of being on sea and land. Our ship was a good size offering both areas to socialize and quieter spots.

Sanja and the Almissa crew were amazing, they made mine and my brothers week fun and stress free due to their hospitality and professionalism. I would definitely recommend this sail and hope they have Sanja and the Almissa crew so they can have similar memories and just as much fun as we had on our sail!

The ship…beautiful. The food….superb. The stops…unforgettable. The crew…perfection! We probably won’t be able to duplicate this trip in our lifetime. It’s like the stars came together for us and we were able to create a family memory that we will tell our grandchildren. We now identify as Croatian. 😉

We had the best time on our Sail Croatia Explorer cruise. A huge shout out to Sanja (our guide) and Cesar and Kafka for the laughs and Grappa to start the morning with 😊. The food was amazing and there were plenty of day excursion options on each stop. Honestly it was a great family vacation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a fabulous holiday! There are just three reasons I couldn't give it a perfect 5. 1. "Water toys"-having only 4 "floaties" when you have 36 people on board is not enough. On vacation, no one wants to jump is the sea and tread water for the duration of the swim stop. 2. The new Contessa is lovely. However, on the top deck there was not nearly enough loungers or chairs. People were having to share or go below deck. There was plenty of space for more. 3. It is a bummer that you advertise excursions to Explorer travelers but they actually do not happen or are not reccomended. We were excited on day 1 to go river rafting but once on board heard that that actually wasn't an excursion. Same with canoeing-said you "could" go, but that it was a very bad experience. Better tour operators or excursions need to be sourced. Lola was super and responsive. Martin and Neno amazing employees! Chef Bane and Marko fab. Charlie and Tino fun on deck, and maids were wonderful.

My wife and I had an absolute blast on the 7-day Split-to-Dubrovnik Explorer cruise on the Contessa. This was our first cruise ever, and it wildly exceeded our expectations. Every stop was a treasure in it's own way, the recently renovated ship has a modern/elegant design, the cabins were spacious, food on on-board was great, crew was fantastic and friendly, and our tour guide Lola made sure we knew all the fun activities to do, and the best places to dine. Highly recommend., 5 star experience.
