Sail Croatia completely exceeded my expectations — and a massive part of that was thanks to Marin, our incredible team leader. From day one, he brought the best energy, kept everything running smoothly, and somehow made a group of strangers feel like a little family. Absolute legend. The crew was just as amazing — from the unreal food to the seamless sailing, they nailed every detail. We swam in crystal blue water, danced at sunset, explored stunning islands, and laughed non-stop. If you’re thinking of booking — do it. And if you get Marin and this crew, consider yourself very lucky. Unforgettable trip. 1000/10. I will be booking again!! And hopefully can have the same crew (fingers crossed!!!!)

It was the perfect trip! I have seen most of the World, but this made the rest 6 or 7 compared to this trip being a 10!!! The crew was wonderful, especially our tour guide. Extremely informative and full of energy and enthusiasm. The sights of the places visited were will remain with me forever. The other outstanding part of the trip was the meeting of the other travelers on the Romantic Star. Very well traveled from all different countries. We all got along so well together. I went on the Sail Croatia cycle cruise (Dubrovnik to Split) in June/July 2025 with my immediate family. Despite the heat, we had a marvelous time. The biking aspect was well-organized and our guides, Miranda and Matilda, were full of information and stories about our cycling routes and destinations. They were so much fun! The crew (apologies for lack of the correct Croatian letters on my keyboard), Toncii, Halim, Dinko, Zdravko, and our Captain Ivan, made the trip smooth and enjoyable. Each day brought a different view of Croatia. What a memorable way to spend my first visit here! Would love to come back :)

This was our first sailing trip and we were not disappointed, our skipper Tony and hostess Dora were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The boat was in pristine condition and we had the most fabulous week around Havar and the islands close to Split. Routes were agreed daily dependant on weather conditions and the food prepared by the Hostess was excellent. I would have no hesitation in rebooking a similar trip.

Hana was hands down the best tour guide I’ve ever had. She brought so much energy, care, and positivity to every part of the trip. From the very beginning, she made everyone feel welcome and looked after; whether it was organising logistics, giving local tips, or just checking in to see how we were doing. She genuinely cared about everyone on board, and it showed in the little things she did every day. On top of that, she was so much fun to be around; always smiling, dancing, and making sure we were having the best time possible. We had a family trip of a lifetime with Sail Croatia. Skipper Ana and Host Danijel were amazing taking us to all the highlights from Dubrovnik to Split along with many off the beaten path hidden gems such as private, crystal clear blue water swim stops. Gourmet meals on the boat were topped only by some of the best restaurants including Croatia’s finest peka on Solta. The personal accommodation that allowed us to visit the small fishing village where our Croatian ancestors emigrated from was transformative. We would highly recommend a Sail Croatia trip and a huge thank you to Ana and Danijel for their stewardship throughout the trip!

Absolutely loved my Sail Croatia experience! The itinerary was stunning, the boat was clean and comfortable, and the vibe was unmatched. We have just returned from a week on Almissa, having been on the same ship 3 years previously, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We loved everything about our cruise and were lucky to find a great group of like minded travellers on board who were brilliant company and very friendly. Almissa has an amazing crew, a captain who was very present and easy to chat to and hardworking, fun bar and serving staff. Klara was a fantastic guide with her humour, knowledge and helpfulness, she really made everything go seamlessly and was a lot of fun. Everyone worked hard and couldn’t do enough for us. We felt that the food was better this time than 3 years ago, so well done to the kitchen staff. We enjoyed all the beautiful towns and looked forward to the daily swim stops. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cruise and may even try another week with Sail Croatia in the future.

Our Guide Saća was absolutely amazing! The best guide I’ve had on any group trip so far. He knew so much about all the destinations we visited and went above and beyond for all of us. Best part of the week was the amazing crew, including our guide Ante and bartender Rene as well as the chef, sailors and captain, who all went above and beyond to give us an unforgettable experience. The cruise itself was packed with great moments, from swimming in the Adriatic, to activities throughout the day, to going out at night. Also had a really good group on the boat, which I appreciated as a solo traveller. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Croatia.

I had a 5 star experience on Sail Croatia explorer cruise for many reasons including the wonderful group of people onboard, the staff who attended to every need, the swim stops, excursions on offer, and the meals were 10/10 (the staff were also very accommodating when I informed them I don’t eat red meat). Our Sail Croatia Representative, Vicko, went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could be, he was always willing to offer advice, to join us on excursions, provide relative and interesting information about the locations we visited, and tailor our experiences to ensure we had the best time possible. He was the best tour guide I have ever met, he helped me to find a local chemist, made restaurant recommendations, and assisted in making local bookings. I feel the experience would not have been the same without him, and he became a friend to all by the end of the cruise. I will be back and will be recommending this trip to others as it was such a positive experience.

From the moment we stepped on the boat to the moment we departed we received excellent care from our Tempera cruise manager Nikos and his team. Nikos and his team were warm friendly and attentive to our every need. Nikos kept us informed via the WhatsApp group chat and daily announcements and did a fantastic job of coordinating all of the fun and interesting activities. The food which included daily breakfast and lunch were delicious. I also really enjoyed the fact that it was a smaller boat with about 35 guests. We really enjoyed meeting and getting to know our lovely fellow guests from around the world and it was fun to interact with them all during the various activities that were organized on our various stops and to run into them while out and about on the islands. Another thing that I really liked was being able to visit several amazing and beautiful places in a week without needing to pack and unpack between stops. This was an awesome experience and I highly recommend it.

Ceilí was absolutely amazing and truely made this whole week what it was for me. Her energy and positivity every day plus clear communication re daily itinerary made each day so stress free and easy. The premier boat was also phenomenal. The food was better than I expected and saved a lot of money rather than buying food on the islands which can be quite costly. As a solo traveller it would have been nice to have been on a boat with other solo travellers as I was the only female not in a group. The other guests are really what can make or break this week but as far as the crew, amenities and our leader Cailí is concerned I have nothing but good things to say.

We have just returned from a week on the yacht Jubilo hosted by our skipper Ivan and hostess Nika. What an outstanding week, visiting beautiful islands and great swim spots guided by Ivan who then was brilliant at recommending and booking great restaurants at each stop. He would always ensure we had the best tables and was very attentive at ensuring we had the best experience. He gave us time when needed to enjoy each island and was always helpful sorting out logistics, transfers and even when we departed the boat was more than happy to help book restaurants when we moved on to Stari Grad the following week. Nika was also an outstanding hostess, nothing was too much trouble and she was very attentive with the children and making sure everything was clean tidy and we were constantly supplied with snacks and drinks. Her cooking was superb and we enjoyed amazing breakfast platters, and fantastic Croatian cuisine and salads at lunch. Both of them together really made our trip!

We sailed a 7 day cruise with Sail Croatia. The boat is called Katarina & it is part of the Elegance line. Captain Ivan, his staff and the cruise director were so welcoming and attentive. We had amazing swim stops every day, visited beautiful islands and had plenty of time to enjoy them. The boat is beautiful, new, well maintained, clean and very comfortable. I was sad to see the trip end and I would go again, if possible.

We had a fantastic private yacht sailing trip with Sail Croatia for our family of four that includes two teenagers. Prior to departure from Split, we agreed the journey with the skipper Ante from Sail Croatia. Then we had 6-7 fantastic days of sailing between the islands Brac, Hvar, Vis and Solta, before arriving back in Split. The sailing boat had all the facilities we needed. The skipper had many great tips for us about things to see and do at the places we docked, as well as good restaurants serving local specialities. He also included many great swimming stops in small lagoons along the way. Since we are interested in learning sailing, we were included in handling of the boat and sailing in different wind conditions. The booking process and communication prior to and after the sailing trip was excellent, and we are very thankful for the great support we experienced from the staff at Sail Croatia. We highly recommend Sail Croatia if you consider sailing or yachting in Croatia.

Our tour manager, Ioanna, was the shining star of the cruise. She is very knowledgeable about Croatia’s history, top things to do on each island, always goes the extra mile and consistently to ensure guests are well versed in all possibilities, she over delivers on every aspect of the role and has a great communication style, very light and funny. The crew is wonderful as well, very hard working and dedicated to their jobs. The cook staff was incredibly talented, and meals were delicious. And the captain was just lovely. Definitely one of the cleanest sails I have ever experienced. I would absolutely recommend the Olimp, it’s a family-owned boat and the Captain is the son of the owner.

My second Sail Croatia holiday and just as good as the first. I chose the Split Northern Cycle Tour to explore some new places and more of some of the places I'd visited previously, It was a great trip with an excellent multi national bunch of people on board. We were well looked after and the rides were excellent, scenic, varied, interesting and challenging but do go for the e-bike option unless you are a serious bike rider!

This was hands down one of the best trips we’ve taken in years. There are so many things we loved about our experience but three things single handedly took first prize. 1. Our Sail Croatia guide Vicko was BRILLIANT!! His daily pre departure talks gave us so much rich context about the places we were going that elevated each days destination and he worked tirelessly to ensure all excursions were booked ahead of time and dinner reservations were made. Vicko is THE reason we will definitely be booking with Sail Croatia again! 2. The ship and crew- beautiful clean accommodation and the most amazing, welcoming, accommodating crew! It was really cool to get to know the captain too who was so welcoming and accommodating. 3. The food was just spectacular!! We really appreciated the opportunity to try so many traditional dishes while on the boat. We also loved the wine list which allowed us to try so many different Croatian wines over the course of the trip.
